I totally agree. The real question should be is why Windows Phone was never open to begin with. In a way, MS is saying "We're selling this phone, and only hackers can enable features that we locked in the first place. Oh, and the warranty won't cover any damage that hacking may cause. "

I've never been tempted to try out World of Warcraft. Not even Guild Wars or any other mmorpg. And as much fun as DC Universe looks, I'm still hesitant in giving it a try. I swear, when a pokemon mmorpg is released, I WILL PLAY THE FUCK OUT OF THAT GAME.
I agree. It's inconvenient and you can sell or trade it after you're done. You can't do that with a downloaded game.

The ps2 was the dominant console in it generation. Just like the wii today, the ps2 was selling so much that piracy never became an issue. The ps3 right now is profiting but isn't holding the top spot. It's in a much more vulnerable situation than the ps2.

lol Loner. There's nothing he could do about his 360 getting hacked and pirated, now he's prowling the PS3 articles. I guess they all love their 360s getting hacked. Who honestly believes a vast majority of people with hacked 360s actually use homebrew? I bet you right now they have stacks of burnt discs with pirated games. =]

Thank you! Let the pirates download their games. The games they pirate are the ones they weren't planning on buying anyway. Just don't let them access PSN, 'cause they've already leached off sony and now they're gonna ruin other gamers' online fun?
It won't turn many pirates into legal buyers, but a lower price on consoles and games would greatly help convince non-pirates to not pirate. Right now, a great argument against pirating PS3 games is that buying used games or even some new ones is far more convenient and cheaper than bothering with blank blu-ray discs and download times.
