I was disappointed with the game at first, 'cause I've gotten used to BC2 so much. But the more I played BF3, the more I started to like it. Now I freakin' love it.

Can someone help me out on this one. I've read somewhere that the Splinter Cell collection has some inverted control problems, like you can't change it or something. Does that mean when I look up, I need to point the analog stick backwards, or the other way around?

Sales is not an indication of quality. Think of all the mediocre artists who sell more than the talented ones. I would bet Justin Bieber sold more albums this year than Bruce Springsteen or Adele, so with your logic, the kid's a better singer? Think of all those terrible movies that earn more profits. You think every one of the recent Transformer movies is better than, let's say, District 9, Pans Labyrinth, etc.? What about crappy shows that gain tons...

I don't think it's flawed. Even if some buy consoles solely for watching movies, the fact still remains that consoles are built primarily for playing games, just like buying smart phones solely for games doesn't make them less of a phone.

You shouldn't really laugh at you friend. Early adopters helped keep the PS3 relevant during those first few years after it launched. But, if your friend bought one today for 700, then he deserves to be laughed at.
Everyone should really stop calling trophy hunters as trophy whores. Getting the most value out of a game doesn't make anyone a whore =/

As long as EA is happy with the profits, then they'll continue to support the game and the franchise. More money for EA, more games for everyone else... win-win.
i honestly haven't read any other comparison just like yours. it's a pretty interesting analogy. both fun, basically comes down to preference. i would just take a guess that paintballing is to battlefield 3 just as laser tag is to modern warfare 3? :D

nah too much hassle. you have to open the site, browse through all those pop-up-ridden thumbnails, and then you have to wait for the videos to load. just download some free porn on your pc then transfer it to your vita. why even watch it on a handheld, you're risking of dropping your device while doing the deed, and even worse you'd have it all "sticky".
