Most people will own the cheaper original consoles. PS4 will always have the power and sales advantage there. It'll drive down the regular console price. I'm not that enamored with the Neo or Scorpio because it'll just act as a 4k device that plays games at high-resolution. Games and VR will perform better but I'm not sure I will upgrade yet. PS4 is still vastly superior to Xbox One and is barely half done with this generation. Then again it depends on price too. If Neo is aff...
There is already rumors Neo will release at 5.5 TFlops so this rumor is innacurrate. Nobody knows what's coming. Remember that time everyone thought PS4 had less memory and a weaker GPU? Then right around launch they punched Microsoft in the teeth with a console 40% stronger? Yeah I'd slow these rumors. It could get embarrassing again. Let's just be happy we have a Ultra edition console for each. Its a upgrade if you want it. It's optional if you don't.
Quantum Break is the heavy hitter. It's kind of a bad list if you are putting a heavy hitter on this list that scored worse than a bare bones SF4 game.
Push the hardware. That's what it's there for.
People have said basically this same software mumbo-jumbo this whole generation. It never amounted to anything.
There is no games on Xbox. Neo is a good enough jump in power. Those new consoles are just luxury items. It's not actually like a new release everyone needs. It won't effect the two main consoles. PS4 will still sell more than the regular Xbox console by a lot. Xbox One sales might go down actually. More people will probably buy the Scorpio instead since it's the big graphics jump the fans have wanted. Neo on the other hand? I think It'll sell well too and it'll be a luxur...
No not really. It's barely a mosquito bite of info regarding the outcome of this already decided generation. Scorpio itself could sell pretty well but Xbox as a whole won't gain much if any ground on PS4. The main ps4 console which is still stronger than the main Xbox console are still the focal point of the main sales. They are the cheaper casual alternative. Whether the Neo and Scorpio sale well won't really effect the main sales numbers of those consoles. It'll still be mor...
I warned the Scorpio fanatics. Sony is smart. Never think the initial release of info is what you will get.
Ok. I would temper that thought. It might be embarrassing again.
You downplayed everything but still your conclusion was PS4 was better on exclusives even after rattling off a long list of downplays. Shows you are far far behind if you are defending Xbox.
That's a silly question. PS4 by a
Landslide. Xbox has barely had any games the entire year.
Beware your early comparison charts. They significantly favored Xbox One before launch last time too. I'm not taking any of this as what to expect. I will wait until Neo is announced and shown. Also until they both are at least set in final specs right before release.
Well I'm hoping they keep it within reasonable price range. I think it's proven most buyers won't go above 500 dollars for a console. 599 is the upper limit PS3 got a tiny bang for its buck. That was with groundbreaking Blu-ray support and the new Cell architecture.
AGAIN. Nvidia 1080ti and Titan are not console rivals. In terms of console power 4.5 times jump of a mid generation console is very substantial. Among its rival console brethren.
I like to hear that. However Sony always pulls a cat out of the bag. Often times Xbox is not prepared at the size of the cat.
It needs to have a substantial impact. There also needs to be a line between constant upgrades like a phone does yearly. That won't be good. Maybe one mid generation upgrade per each generation is enough. Parents won't buy kids constantly new videogame consoles like they will phones. One mid generation jump is enough to not only prolong but also invite more profit to each generational cycle.
Specs always matter. It's just a matter of how much content the new console provides. Some may like the price if it's reasonable and good specs. Some may like the gaming experience it provides during certain games. It's a lot if factors. One of which specs certainly plays a role. I hope Sony follows the same path too. Neo and Scorpio are all great additions. Virtual reality and AR are all great to add competition.
That was badass. Thats one of the better boss battles I have seen.
Im very glad to see what they have done. Hopefully NEO for Sony learns from this and responds accordingly. Very pleased with Microsoft overall. I love competition. Sony forced this kind of move. Now hopefully Sony responds.
A little late don't you think? Everyone is already buying it. Kinda defeats the purpose to ask now.
