After seeing it in action I'm kinda surprised some games aren't even close in visuals at least. If not story too. Seems like creating story driven action games would be easy this generation. Without having to be heavy on quick time events. Uncharted excels at something others rarely do right except in cutscenes. Even after the cytscene it keeps telling a story while walking through the game and during action pieces. He keeps describing clues to himself. Which is easier than pointing o...
Not sure it's gonna be the cheapest. That sounds innacurrate considering PSVR is top notch and the cheapest.
Nice. Give me more Xbox. Give me a idea on what's up with the virtual options
This isn't surprising. It's the most affordable entry into top of the line modern virtual reality. Without any sacrifice to offset the price.
No. I just hope they finally respond with a bigger upgrade than the competition. This is great news for us gamers. Now maybe Nintendo is forced to go with the better specs in a system finally. I'm hoping it just brings a beastly machine now.
Yeah that's super lame. Really? You act as if it's that important to play a videogame. Spoiled brats. Grow up losers.
Well I wouldn't go that far. They haven't shown anything yet. To me the winner will be the console that pushes more full game experiences, fun, multiplayer options, and versatility in use of VR. Right now I'm in wait and see mode to see both lineups. Right now I'm very excited with PSVR than others. Microsoft could change minds.
Yeah Xbox needs to jump in too now. The more the merrier.
This is a easy answer. The other best exclusive of last generation. The Last of Us.
This is good news. I'm all in on advancing virtual reality. I don't care who does it. I just care about quality and a long life of new experiences for virtual reality.
Ok I'll give you that but now PS4 has reversed the roles. It's a larger margin of difference between the very close Xbox 360 vs PS3 race.
Good for Microsoft. I'm not buying their underwhelming games and hardware like a new IPhone every year. Hopefully Sony is just doing one mid generation upgrade model.
Nope. It's still this generation machines. Sony isn't worried about constant hype about every tiny thing Microsoft does. It always underwhelmed us and amounts to nothing.
I wouldn't read too much into it. I guess it's the award for staying afloat during a massive sales storm by your competition. I'm surprised they stated afloat too. They could have sunk after Timb Raider flopped and Uncharted has been a massive success but they hang around solidly in second. PS4 has stopped steadily going up by multiples at least.
Lol. Forza fans trying so hard to still downplay the king of racing games. One day maybe Forza will catch up. It's not a simulation racing game for Forza though. If you want unrealistic closed off linear environment then go Forza. If you want simulator? Then Gran Turismo is the way to go.
Remember when the specs were "known" for Xbox One and PS4 before release? They said Xbox would be more powerful. Then right before release PS4 dropped a bombshell upgrade at memory. The GPU turns out is around 40- 50% stronger. I would hold your horses on Xbox rumors. The Kings of underwhelming us after building unrealistic expectations.
They better come strong or not at all. Right now I see no need to own a inferior Xbox. Especially if both versions are inferior to the Sony version.
No it's not a battle. I don't know why they insist on putting Xbox in the battle they are clearly KO'd from already. I could say that Xbox as a machine is a nice 2nd system to have similar to others who were soundly beaten in their respective generations like the GameCube or Dreamcast. There are a few gems on Xbox. However whatever case anyone wants to make for them in the games department and making a comeback as the console of choice has passed.
Let me tell you how much multiplayer accounts for. This according to IGN. They are the only ones who broke it down into two categories. Multiplayer accounts for .2 off any review. So even accounting the only multiplayer review minus the campaign? .2 off of all of these reviews still has Uncharted well above Tomb Raider and really far ahead of Quantum Break. At least in terms of average score on Metacritic. Thank IGN for not giving you any wiggle room to catch up on the single player portion. ...
I honestly don't care that all the sudden everyone likes VR. Especially Xbox players that thought it wasn't a good idea on PS4 but now suddenly do on Xbox. I just am glad virtual reality is getting more exposure. Less fake opposition towards that which was really from fanboyism to begin with. The more VR ideas the merrier. Welcome aboard Xbox.
