I'm not saying 4k isn't important. I'm just saying it's overstated. PS4 is already ahead by twice and people already choose that option. A Blu-ray player alone won't swing the console generation. If I had to choose between a slim console and a more powerful console with PSVR already on it? I choose the more powerful cobsole with virtual reality and leader in gaming this generation with the most exclusives.
It's really not expensive. I thought it would be. So I'll go buy it. I'm so glad that price is in my range when I buy it.

It scares you because it looks like it won't be a gimmick. Just embrace it in Xbox then you won't feel left out. Kinect? You do know this isn't the only VR system being sold. As far as sakes I'm sure even though this thing just barely launched all the other VR units from other companies including portable phone VR have surpassed Kinect in sales. Good the one bad review finally. Sorry buddy. It's too late. So many YouTube videos up already of people reacting to playing it. Their reactions are nothing like a regular videogame could give you. They are astonished at the play and immersion be can give them. PSVR is already winning by word of mouth.
I'm reinvigorated to play games again. This is great. Not only will the experience get better over time it may start to introduce new ways to game. I predict new genres will be created now. Games will be played like never before.

Plus I automatically associate anything with cheap and VR in the wording as meaning garbage experience. There is no such thing as a really cheaper than PSVR model that will bring you a good experience. VR experience falls off significantly at some point if the tech isn't up to par. PSVR provides the a good bare minimum experience already if you want to be immersed. How great can the experience be if Microsoft is making it a hundred or more cheaper?
