The videos are phenomenal. Seeing as it has the best exclusives and has virtual reality it doesn't really matter if Scorpio is coming.
I meant Gran Turismo. Yes you can't play that.
True it will sell better but why make it mandatory? One of the gaming outlets will do it for them while they sell the rest at full price. Maybe even a few outlets will do it.
My prediction is the sales will look very similar to PS4 vs Xbox one. That will show basically the same amount of interest as I am saying it already is at.
What's more important is its already too late for Xbox. So Scorpio a whole year later will be too far overdue. It's too late.
When Xbox starts to matter we will pay attention. Until then this is like soft wind blowing against a mountain. The generation is halfway through already. Scorpio is too late. It's basically just a upgraded version if a system nobody chose over PS4 to begin with.
I agree. Everyone buys at least two consoles by the generation ending. So they can just upgrade when theirs wears down or they were gonna buy a slim anyways.
Well when the consumer starts buying the Xbox I think everyone will acknowledge the Xbox. As of now I'll continue to ignore this as a contest when Sony isn't constantly outselling the Xbox. Which will still continue with Pro vs Scorpio. I'm just being realistic.
It's officially begun. The mid-generation upgrade is finally here.
Im so tempted to buy this now. It's been years since the PS4 launch. Usually around this time I buy my second console for either slim versions or just to fix a minor issues after years of use. So I guess I will upgrade this time.
It actually impressed me more than I had first thought. I'm gonna go ahead get this next. It's already been a few years since launch when I bought a ps4. A upgrade is time.
The PS4 brand is a competitor to Xbox. The PS4 games have beaten Xbox handily. This is just a option if you want a slightly better version of those games. Still can't play Uncharted 4, God of War, Bloodbourne, GTA, Horizon Zero Dawn on Scorpio no matter the specs.
By then Sony will already have the larger fanbase. We already saw two ways to win. One is by launching first with a huge headstart on the competition like Xbox 360 did last competition. The other is to build the better console with larger selection of games like we saw with PS4. PS4 pro has two of those going for it because it will have a headstart and more games of the better variety.
It's already mid generation. These are just premium consoles. I'm less worried about the two power. Not much if any of it will be utilized. They will have improved versions of games. It's a nice perk. It doesn't move the needle in terms of console makes though. I might pick up a Scorpio if they get some good games. Neo too.
Looks like it only hurts Xbox. Just buy a PS4. There is no reason not to anymore. Every metric you can weigh belongs in their corner. Don't like that type of one sided dominance? Then buy the Neo. It's a new system. All the perks of a new experience and some of the dominant advantages shared with ps4.
Xbox got its doors blown off again? Oh well next time. Looks like Xboxers get the fog edition.
Sure they should do it. Focus on the Xbox OneS and Scorpio.
For once I'm glad Microsoft and Sony gave the media absolutely nothing to compare. There is no way to proclaim one way or the other. No real difference between the two as of yet official. You can't turn it into a winner or loser yet. They are both the same idea anyway. The slight differences will be nearly the same we see already in the regular console versions.
Nobody buys a Xbox though. So why would it change? The could just pick up the affordable upgradePS4 Pro.
