Good, maybe you can help spark interest. Indie developers would be smart to jump to it since I think everyone is a bit tired of the 8 bit trend. 16 bit, 32 bit, and FMV need attention right now.
The question is illogical. Just because Uncharted has been remastered, for example, doesn't mean we didn't get Uncharted 4. Remasters are separate from new games. We're still getting FF XV despite a handful of HD remasters from Square. It's ridiculous to think that we aren't getting new games because of remasters. If anything people should complain about sequels, but I personally don't mind them if they're good and make sense.
The more remasters ...
A U.S release would be nice...
Energy drinks are poison.
Screw "the times." The only reason this sponsorship should be allowed is it doesn't involve Capcom directly.
Weak argument. Reminds me of those who say that if you're not pro-LGBT then you're a closeted homosexual. Try again.
Get out of here with your new age, progressive ideological vomit.
Capcom shouldn't have any say in the matter. What happens outside the tournaments is none of their business.
R.I.P
This genre needs a return.
Replying to you based on a different post you made here. We may not agree on everything but I am glad we agree that Sony does have a leash on ND and all devs, to what extent we don't know, and likely varies by developer and team or even by project, but it is there. This is common sense, really, dunno how people disagreed with me lol.
F*** big companies bullying everyone.
Accidentally disagreed. They don't belong anywhere lol.
TES, LAN2, and ED2 are definitely what I wanna see.
No, it isn't. ND and Sony aren't friends. Sony owns ND. ND does what Sony wants.
Well, on paper at least. I hear Sony lets them have a lot of freedom. But at the end of the day, if Sony doesn't like something or wants something, then it is their call.
@MagicBeanz: "What Sony wants is to make money and that's what Naughty Dog games do regardless of their scale."
And?
I'd like to see them do some Vita projects.
No, they're what is keeping it afloat, actually. And who do you game for, yourself or others? What are you, 12? Who is embarrassed by their own interests? Lol derp.
I think it's just greed. Companies don't bother expending even minimal resources if the return is not great. IMO that is a disservice to their fans. If there is any profit to be made, and it is a simple port, then it should be done.
Agreed 100%.
2D combat like Budokai.
