You do know that MS is not making a definite profit with XB1 at launch right. They are going to break even or at worst low profit margin. So they're not really making a clear profit. Both Sony & MS are going to be making money on games, services & accessories.
It's a better situation than Sony's rumoured $60 per box but not clear enough that prices on either console will be coming down any time soon.
If that's the case then they could just easily illiterate that statement and stop all this could they not?
Also looking at how Kinect rivals, Driveclub, Watch dogs & the crew were all supposed to be at launch and are not now statements from months ago mean very little now.

Serouisly KZ is awesome no doubt about that but comparing to BF4 is kinda harsh. First BF4 is a cross gen game, second BF4 maps will probably be two times bigger than KZ ones, third It doesn't have near the destructible environment BF will have or vehicle combat.
Also BF4 on PC in some cases as pointed out by others will probably beat KZ:SF with the right hardware.
Both look great for what they do.
The real problem here I feel is that Phil Harrison & Albert Panello has said multiple times that have no idea of the res of third-party games even though Adam Boyes from Sony somehow knows. To add to this some MS execs have been saying there won't be a difference between the two for a while.
In the case of COD I don't think it matters too much because well it's COD it's hardly the most demanding game out there & you have Ryse running @900p arguably one...

Considering People can Fly where responsible for GOW:J SP I think he needs to look at what he was involved in before calling KZ:SF & Ryse generic because GOW:J SP was pretty bland & similar to GOW 3 the enemy spawn system helped a bit.
You do know by traditional without an additional GPU on PC or laptops APUs use just one pool of memory. XB1 is the first exceptional to the rule because MS went with DDR3 but needed high bandwidth so went with Esram as compensation. Also the reason MS went with 2133mhz ram because faster ram = better performance with an APU --->

What hardware change?? The upclocks are a not really a hardware change, Also that has 0% in relation to the XB1 or gaming.

Nope I don't see that happening tbh on X360 IE(another MS product) is still behind XBL same on XB1 and from what I have read on their website and this that practice doesn't seem to be changing anytime soon. Without XB1 all you can do with an XB1 is play single-player games, watch blu-rays, use kinect for games, UI navigation & some Tv stuff everything else is behind XBL paywall.
