Yeah cmrbe that is also what I've taken in from the many, many comments I've read previously in regards to those games and I'm sure their new game will follow suit. It's partly what interests me, something different.
Quite clearly an early build but it does look very interesting.
The music was great in the video I thought. I've never played ICO or SOTC so I'm not as hyped as most in here but I'm very interested to see more info on this game as it becomes available because clearly Team Ico's other games were fantastic judging by the opinions of so many.
I have to say that this is the first time I've read a Joystiq review and I like the fact they don't give a score. For as much hate as some peopel give Kotaku (including me sometimes) I like the way they review games too.

I use my PS3 to stream videos etc. from my PC and it does a fantastic job so I haven't even tried to see how it is on my 360.
Besides I have the Bluetooth remote control for my PS3 already so it's a little more convenient to use that.
I'd have left out some of those games and put others in but those would be my preference and I suppose this article is the preference of the author. Mostly good games in there but not all of them I'd call a must own but that's just my taste.
Replacing a hard drive in the PS3 is pretty simple tbh. Not as simple as the 360 but the trade off for that easier swap isn't worth it....extremely limited in size and is set at a truly extortionate price.

lol this is true but over the months I've learned to ignore them better where as before I'd allow myself to get into an argument with them and end up looking like a fanboy myself.

IGN's reviews (yes reviews, US/UK) were glowing and had barely anything negative to say, I'd imagine the negatives were borderline nitpicking that your average jow won't notice at all.
EVERY preview/hands on impression has been equally as glowing as the IGN reviews, including Gamespot, of all places lol.

Not an amazing article but it's nice to see something sensibly written and with a real gamer comment at the end.
That video looked pretty stunning and what's amazing is that they still have about 3-4 months to polish it off.
This will most definitely be a day 1 purchase for me.
The important thing is it is only being done on the PS3.
The 360 may well be technically capable of running it exactly the same way if an engine was custom built for the game around that architecture because I don't think inFAMOUS is as technically advanced as KZ2, a game I won't believe can be done on 360 until someone matches it's graphical and technical brilliance on the 360.
Couldn't care less, quit GTA4 after an hour and traded it in not long after.
Europes version of Home Square is an older build than the US one. If most of the building work was done in Europe it would only seem logical that we'd have the most up to date version of Home Square.
Us not having the latest version of HS is why we don't have that music player thing in HS the way the US does.

If it isn't the umpteenth rendition of WW2 then it might interest me depending on whatever else is released around the same time.
The COD series has killed the WW2 type shooters for me, apart from Resistance which is set in a completely alternate setting.
I hope MS do bring a couple of great looking exclusive games (true exclusives interest me more than multi-plats this gen) because I want there to be more exclusives on the 360 that I actualy want to play. It'd be awesome if they were some exciting mew IP's too.
I'm hoping Gamespot have a live video stream of the Sony/MS press conference like last year becasue I'm really interested in seeing what both have to announce.
