Would it really surprise you if they rushed it our before Sony get theirs on the market after hearing Sony will release their motion controls in spring?
Wouldn't surprise me at all, what they need to do is get it right and then release it. The 360 already has a good install base and a good price point, if they get the hardware right and launch it with some cool games that take advantage of the feature then they won't need to release first like they had to with the 360.

The graphics for this game are amazing and we all knew that anyway. Personally I can't wait to get my hands on the storyline and gameplay, along with the witty yet dramatical script and overall quality of everything other than the graphics.
The characters in Uncharted are the real marvel of the franchise imo and those alone are enough to make it a GOTY contender.
Yeah I get that, I even get that they want to be more successful than Sony which is why they'll go for exclusive/timed exclusive content over the PS3 but you'd think with both the 360 and Games for Windows being their platforms they'd be comfortable in allowing the game to release day and date on both platforms. It'd be annoying for any PC gamer who at the end of the day would still be a MS customer.
To me it makes about as much sense as Sony saying they would release Motorstorm...
I actually kinda agree with him, what all does XBL have in terms of gaming features that PSN doesn't? Cross game chat/invites and the party system?
Those are cool features sure but I personally don't think that p2p networking and those 3 features are worth paying a yearly fee for. Of course many do and there's nothing wrong with that, I just don't think it sets XBL light years ahead of PSN like some people seem to think.

If they start this timed exclusivity crap between the 360 and PC then that will be pretty annoying. It's bad enough putting up with the stupidity of timed exclusive DLC between the 360 and PS3 but if it starts between MS' own platforms then we'll have reached a whole new level of dumb.
You know I love God of War, it's my favourite gaming franchise.
With that said, I'd love to have another game in the same genre and style of GOW that is in a similar way just as epic in both gameplay and storyline.
Dante's Inferno has definite potential with it's source material and from what I've seen so far the gameplay looks promising. It does however have a huge task if it is ti "challenge" Kratos. I don't think the devs are aiming to dethrone GOW thoug...

I was expecting a Greenbergesque kind of trash talking but reading the article I think the author describing it as a "scathing attack" was a huge exaggeration.
I haven't played the Mario game but I would agree with him on GT4 and I consider what he said to be more constructive criticism than I do a "scathing attack".

I had no idea what Blu-Ray was when I bought my PS3, in fact I knew absolutely NOTHING of the features the PS3 had and I mean nothing. I bought it because it was the new Playstation.
Since then though, discovering the features, one of those being Blu-Ray I have to say I love watching Blu-Ray movies and will generally buy the BR version of a movie over it's DVD counterpart. High Def movies is what pushed me to upgrade my TV to a nice 40" Samsung full HD TV.
He probably used a few $ out of that $30k and got the ink removed and still came out with a nice profit.
Not seeing the down side to that one lol.

I'd have done it.
The PS3 browser isn't bad but anyone that thinks a dedicated Netflix application on the XMB wouldn't be better than the browser is kidding themselves.
The VidZone service is a great example of a dedicated application sitting on the XMB, if they had a Netflix one it'd be much much better than using the browser.
A higher install base does not guarantee more sales.
If it catches you by surprise and you only have a short time to play then yeah that'd be annoying but how often does that actually happen? My own personal experience of that would be not very often.
Besides, I wouldn't be planning on spending only 15 minutes in a game like Uncharted.
