Clearly the author of that article is an absolute retard. The PS3 is imo the best gaming machine out there right now, the 360 is also a good gaming machine, it's only problem this year is that it has been lacking in the same kind of great exclusive games Sony has had in 2009.
I don't think the PS3 or even the 360 is a disappointment to gamers. At least not to this gamer.
There's no basis to hate on this article at all really. They were at an event reporting on what they actually saw. Normally HHG gets hated on for his flame-bait headlines for his articles and the rumours and speculation he puts out.
There's none of that in here, it's a pretty good piece by HHG.

There's this thing called an embargo, meaning he isn't allowed to speak about the specifics of what was shown. Anyone failing him for not saying more would fall into the category of being a complete and utter moron.
The embargo will be lifted in January and we'll get to see what HHG and a bunch of the rest of the media saw.
It says so on the game features screen after you've completed the demo.
I love the demo btw and seeing these 2 videos has helped my anticipation for the game grow. It's great that Darksiders and Dante's Inferno are coming out so soon and will help pass the time until God of War 3 drops it's all time epicness.
Uncharted 2 or inFAMOUS is this year's GOTY for me, both were excellent games in every way.
SCEE sent me a demo code at least a month or so ago.
I'm with you man, except with Bayonetta it might not be a day 1 purchase, I want Darksiders and DI a little bit more than Bayonetta but eventually I will buy and play all of them.

That's fine and dandy to say, the Wii has more games than either PS3 or 360 but the majority of those are garbage, quality > quantity every time. Also on the point of exclusives, how many of these will be truly exclusive? How many 360 "exclusives" have we seen also on PC or later released on PS3? I really hope MS have plenty of truly exclusive 360 games in 2010 and that they are quality games, I'...
I liked the demo a lot tbh.
The game seems to borrow a lot from GOW and I think the GOW demo is much more impressive.
With that said though I'm looking forward to Dante's Inferno releasing and I'll definitely be picking it up.

Hero Of Sparta doesn't work, that's the only mini I have but I'm not too worried, these games are all very much PSP games in my eyes.
Killzone 2 was awesome, I'm not gonna get into the innovation argument but the game itself was feckin fantastic...the atmosphere the game created and the sense of immersion I got from it was unlike any other FPS game I've played to date.
inFAMOUS was the better game by more than a country mile.

It's an interesting concept but Microsoft are going to most likely have close to or more than 10 million people buying Reach at $60 or the equivalent in other currencies AND a high percentage of those people are going to purchase any and all DLC that is released so this will never be happening with a franchise like Halo.
It is indeed an interesting concept but the traditional business model for Halo is such a cash cow there's no way MS, or indeed anyone in their right mind would ...

Oh I really can't wait for God of War 3, I've been playing God of War Collection and the GOW3 demo in anticipation of GOW3.
I'm just sad GOW3 completes the story but at least any other game Santa Monica makes won't take as long since they've got their engine now.

God of War 3 isn't as close to being released as Dante's Inferno is but after playing both demos I believe that the GOW3 demo runs smoother than Dante's Inferno in terms of the controls, they just feel tighter and more polished as does the overall gameplay.
I love the DI demo and I'll be buying the game when it releases but there simply is no comparison between the two.
Both games are shaping up to be good games though and I can't wait to play them both.
