Microsoft have nothing to do with it, they aren't publishing the game.
It's all down to Ubisoft and it's a pretty dumb move, it's good only for GAME. Very poor for the consumer who are now unable to shop around for the best deal on the Collectors Edition.

I am interested in Android phones though, notably the HTC Hero. I am aware that Android 2.0 will be out soon and that the Nexus 1 is also due out, hopefully using Android 2.0 - I want to see how phones running that version of Android are before I take the jump into Android, although it's extremely hard to not just go right after a HTC Hero like right now.
The 360 is not slightly more powerful than the 360 at all.
Look at the top exclusives on the PS3 compared to any game on the 360, there is simply no comparison. The PS3's technical superiority over the 360 is simply something that is not up for debate.
The games you named are examples of nothing more than games that were poorly ported and coded for the PS3.
The Alan Wake footage shown at E3 for me still does not compare to that of Uncharted 2 or Killzone...
What engine does Forza 3 use? Pretty good looking game, surely that engine was created around the 360 architecture?
The majority of those screenshots only show pretty subtle differences between the two versions of the game.
In actual gameplay you'd never even notice the differences.

Naughty Dog have made solid games over the years and they are the developer who are at the absolute cutting edge of console game development. I got my code delivered to my EU PSN email after registering on the Modnation website. In order to download the demo though I've had to use my US PSN account to redeem it. Downloading now (60% done) and hopefully I can use my EU account to play the game cuz I have no friends on the US account lol.
