I wouldn't say it left me awestruck though.
The guy praises the graphics of a cutscene too. I'm with him that the cutscene does look fantastic but it is not gameplay. At least wait until actual gameplay is shown before you start praising graphics.
Looking forward to the gameplay videos, hopefully they are very similar to the cutscenes.
Tretton's comment was perhaps a little silly but it most definitely wasn't a shining example of douche-baggery by any stretch of the imagination.
As much as I like David Jaffe and his honesty he probably got a wee bit carried away with that argument he had with that other guy. I don't think he's a douche in general though, not in the same way the other 3 are.
That isn't why I buy a phone and the android platform looks pretty awesome. The HTC Hero has been grabbing my interest recently. Will perhaps switch from Blackberry to an Android phone next year.

Can't believe the author thinks KZ2 has an forgettable plot. The story etc. in KZ2 was great imo.
The first game wasn't anything special but I really enjoyed the story.

Pretty sure the PS3 is the 3rd fastest selling console of all time, behind the PS2 and the Wii.
Keep in mind that what you saw isn't actual gameplay footage. Sure it's footage generated in real time by the engine, which is fantastic because it really does look good but wait until you see gameplay before saying things like that. PS3 exclusive graphics such as KZ2 and UC2 have yet to be surpassed on consoles.
Still really looking forward to seeing gameplay footage though because this video is so very promising.

Helghan isn't the most colourful of planets. Adding colour to that would be stupid and false in the same way adding a tropical island to the Phamtom Zone in the superman universe would be stupid and false.
GDC is usually pretty early in the year, I think this year it was in February.

The combos were cool and they are a lot of fun, DI I think will be a fun game. I just think there is no comparison between it and the superior GOW, based solely on the demos.

Actually it's 2 months after it but that's neither here not there. The demo we have for GOW3 is the E3 build, which is maybe even older than July. The demo for DI will be much closer to the final product and would be much more representative of the final code, much more so than GOW3's demo.
It's incredibly worrying that there have been so many major bugs and glitches.
Just another reason that makes me feel justified in my decision to abandon this franchise.
I think what this proves is that VGchartz can't really be relied upon, given the NP reports there's no way their Forza 3 numbers are correct.
As for the game selling 1m world wide so far, that wouldn't surprise me, there's a lot of 360's in Europe and Europe love racing games so it wouldn't be surprising if Forza 3 has sold a lot of copies over here.
