IP stands for Intellectual Property I believe.
Consider yourself bubbled
I kinda assumed that they would have created their own (engine) tbh.
Anyhoo have a bubble for Xmas!
I whole heartedly agree.
The most I've paid for a BR movie was £18 from play.com for Ironman I believe.
BR prices in the UK are fine unless you go to a brick and mortar retailer where they tend to be more expensive.
After reading what he said about the Metal Gear stuff it looks like that article on Kotaku is pretty spot on where they mentioned a level pack.
Yeah bringing that up was highly irrelevant to the point of the story.
People want Blu-Ray, Netflix can't deliver (according to this article anyway) and need to step up their game and get more stock to send out to people.
That's it, a criticism of Netflix and nothing else and that is all the story needs to contain.
As soon as sales go down a little bit because there haven't been any notable new releases.
Then a big movie will come out and break records again and they'll go back to being silent for a little while again.
I think the title of this article alone sums up Home.
The article was pretty fair and a good description of the service right now.
Looking forward to Home improvements soon.
Good to see, I've seen a lot of LBP ads over the last 2 or 3 weeks so nice to see that the marketing is paying dividends.
I need to spend more time with my sack
lulz
I watched the trailer just now on Gametrailers HD and I think the game looks great, both visually and gameplay wise.
For those that are unimpressed, this is probably a fairly early build of the game and I'd expect it to be even more polished. Not to mention Jaffe said this trailer wasn't nearly as good as what he had seen when he was at Santa Monica's studio.
Looking forward to videos of a close to final build.
Very well written article and was a good read.
He does have some criticisms of Sony and the PS3 (price and reluctance to lower it in the current economic climate) but also defends it against the farcical claims in the CNN article (PS3 has no must have games).
Nice to read the work of a good journalist on this site for a change.
Yeah I laughed my ass off at that comment. I'm willing to bet Greenberg doesn't really believe that himself but says it to back up his employers.
I found it really pathetic when HHG asked that guy in the store about which console had better games and when he was asked to state the games he had nothing to say other than Gears and Halo, oh and ofc "everything" the PS3 has.
I mean fair enough there are going to be people that the PS3 won't interest with it's exclusives, no problem with that but wow at least appear to be informed in some way. If I was talking to that guy I wouldn't be confident in his advice at all b...
Pretty cool but no way would I want to go bid on it at auction. Not sure why anyone would be jealous tbh, my PC loads discs from a tray it's not a big deal if a console does it. Slot loading on my PS3 is nice but that doesn't mean to say a loading tray is bad.
Pretty sure I've read at least 95% on the Killzone 2 articles that have popped up on N4G and this is the first time I've read anything about the framerate.
That said though id there is a problem with it I'm sure the full release will be much improved from the BETA.
Except that this isn't any form of MS bashing at all now is it?
All this is is business/financial news that is completely unrelated to "the console war".
All this has to do with is that the current financial market is hitting everyone, MS included.
There is nothing inflammatory about this article in any way shape or form. Don't buy into the fanboy wars.
With that said, MS will be fine.
It doesn't really matter whether or not at this point in time if the PS3 itself is making a profit on hardware cost vs sales price. If you knew anything at all you'd know that Sony were looking for a business model with some elasticity when it came to the PS3. If they are making profits on theor other hardware/software then this offsets any losses on PS3's being sold given their cost of mabufacture.
This results in their gaming division being happy because it makes money and as l...
That connectivity was the thing that convinced me to go out and buy a PSP in anticipation of it's release.
Also the R&C game and God of War for the PSP are pretty kickass lol.
Love reading interviews with Ted Price.
You're right it is still in BETA but that really isn't the point for a lot of people. A lot of people are pissed that they don't have the same level of content as other regions.
Now I read that Nathan Drake there had mentioned about distribution for different regions and stuff but content such as the Far Cry space or Uncharted space has very little, if anything in it that needs to be localized I would say. The same can be said for that music playing section in Central Plaza pla...
