Whilst the next PSP is most likely in development, Sony won't want to announce it any time soon imo. I ,eam look at the sales of the PSP, the numbers are healthy and they make a profit on the hardware sales which is part of their overall business model for their gaming division and they won't want to upset that.
A PSP2 won't be announced until the PS3 is breaking even later this year, at the very earliest.

Yeah I don't pay much attention to metacritic scores or review scores in general. I read some reviews sometimes but the actual score means nothing to me'
A lot of people do though and it's messed up that a site like this allows it to continue, however your point about how they get hits is probably spot on.
I like streaming from BBC iPlayer when I miss a show I wanted to watch and I like streaming some other things such as HD trailers from Gametrailers etc. but I think the entire browser needs improved upon, it can be slow sometimes, not that intuitive to use and sometimes can cause my entire console to slow down.
Although that said for the most part it does what I use it for fairly well. I just think they could do so much more with it.
Metacritic really need to sort their site out, this stuff is beyond funny.
It's unique in that the walls you use to take cover are alive and could mess you up.
Pretty sure that hasn't been done before and is thus, unique.

I like the trailer, it looks promising.
So what if it's compared to Gears of War, like others said if it takes gameplay elements and puts its own spin on them and does it well then I'm happy. All anyone should care about is whether or not it is fun.
The "living tower" and it's influence on the cover system will be a huge factor in whether this game succeeeds in being fun or not imo. Hopefully it does because the more great games the better.

To be perfectly honest I genuinely did not know this, never paid attention to that kind of thing before a certain point in this current generation and only paid attention to stuff this current gebneration. Before that I just bought games I saw advertised and on shelves.

I bought a PS3 simply because I owned both previous consoles and had some amazing gaming experiences on them so it just kinda came natural to me to go and buy a PS3 once I had the money to (by that I mean once I had enough credit on my plastic friend lol).

They should really have given a lifetime warranty for the rrod issue given that it is a significant design flaw.
The difference between the 360 and your 3 dead PS2's is that the failure rate of Sony consoles is of a very low percentage, I challenge you to prove otherwise as my launch PS2 that I've just been on this morning playing some God of War 2 wants to have a word with your "3 dead PS2's" and I say it like that because given how you continually comment on this site...
Prototype imo is a game that could actually be a sleeper hit in '09. Fits the criteria.
Looking forward to seeing what is revealed because I haven't seen anything on this game in a long time after seeing a trailer for it in what seems like a couple of years.
How Tiberium linked that screenshot and called the character model ugly is beyond me.

And Raoh makes a good point on the definition of sleeper hit, not to say Alan Wake won't be good but I think he nailed the definition of the term "sleeper hit" I mean it's already getting a fair bit of hype.
You should read it better, he said it's exclusive for Japanese PS3 owners.
Here's what he said.

Nothing wrong with what he said about it being exclusive because he mentioned it will be in Japan and not NA/EU.
Me either man, I loved Tools of Destruction and Quest for Booty was a really fun game too, the PSP game is awesome also.
R&C is one of my most anticipated games for this year because it's just a lot of fun to play.
100 people sounds like a pretty good limit, no way you can regularly keep up with that many people.
