If two things have the same desirability factor, and Product Y costs half the cost of Product X, it will logically sell more than twice as much.

Given limited funds if a person buys Y they won't be able to purchase X. That skews the rate above the twice as much mark.

And that's just taking into account if both products were equally desirable. No matter what my opinion is, it appears that the Wii is more desirable to more people right now to begin with. Given that ...

That's a function of your video card driver. If your running ATI or Nvidia make sure you grab the latest drivers from them.

Also a few years back when I was getting svideo working from a linux laptop you had to shut the screen lid to make the svideo port work. I'm sure thing shave improved since then though.

Right now the best video card for nongaming and Linux is still Intel. I'm sure ATI will be coming along quickly now that they are open sourcing their drivers ...

The Israeli Holocaust museum and receive an education before making flippant remarks about the Holocaust or any survivors.

WWII changed the world. An entire culture was murdered.

I've stated before that I think that a "game", if educational and done tastefully, could be a good thing, however I have no way of verifying if this game treats the subject that way. Kids don't want to read books or watch black and white video of WWII, thats just how kids are. I...

Why haven't they had work in over a year?
Why are qualified IT, programmers, and security professionals losing their homes and cars right now?

Pay for quality and invest in the US at the same time.

Eventually, noone will be able to afford your products after you have devastated the middle class. But hey, you got short term gains right? And really, what's more important than short term gains?

You make me sick Bill.

As long as its factual, and in good taste, I don't see a problem. Its a very thin line though. Having not seen the game, I can't say.

I do find it somewhat amusing that in the US you're allowed to have games where you shoot Nazis, but not one that may spark debate and thought about the problems of facism. It really highlights the absurdness of our government and society.

In order to not repeat history, we must understand history, even the unpleasent parts. Never ...

No matter what it is you've killed, cut off its head put a stake through its heart, stuff the mouth with garlic and burn the body. If you have acid, pour it over the bones.

If you have nukes, nuke the planet from orbit, its the only way to be sure. :D

Ok just kidding about the last one, bur the first part works wonders for messing up a DM's plans of the "near dead villain returning to ruin the day".

If you look at their "shared code" today, the later on develop for a commercial open source project, your code is tainted. They can sue saying you stole the idea from seeing their code 5 years previously or whatever.

LOL! I hadn't thought of that. I wonder if they still get the money? I wonder if the that one lump sum profit was worth the lost blu-ray revenue?

Questions we'll never know the answer to. It would be funny to take an offer like than then do your best to torpedo your own format just for the money.

Over issues, technology, and concepts which the majority of us here have little if any real understanding.

Let me put this into perspective.

I know people in Southern California that to this day believe that California is part of Mexico and is being illegally occupied by the US. If you look at the history California was land won in a war against Mexico, it was not purchased. Does that truly make it part of the US? If not, why not? If it is, then why isn't the...

I'm constantly downloading new CVS tree updates to software from accross the Open Source spectrum. New Linux build downloads every few months are 3-4 gig a distro.

This is silly.
