Well this story sure opened my eyes lol.. I never really thought much of all the grunge between the keys on my keyboard..

I'm surely going to go pop my keyboard in the washing machine today lol.

(Yes you can wash them in a washing machine if done right.)

Ouch, I feel sorry for ATI.. Only a die shrink and minor architecture changes?

Nvidia's upcoming chip is going to pummel them =/... (Has over 1 billion transistors lol.)

It has to advance. Or what else is going to play the latest games lol.

Advancing in technology fast may be expensive.. But it's a good thing because it brings us better gaming faster :P

You can tell when reading this that this guy is a definite ATI fan.

His story is quite false.

If ATI is indeed making it a 2 chip card. Then they are going to fail against Nvidia.

Because game developers have to design a game to work with multi-gpu's.

But Nvidia is just making a single GPU that is immensely more powerful then the existing ones. It's not the size that matters, it's how you use it ;) lol. Merely making smaller chips doesn't br...

Who said it wasn't a retail game?

And you are wrong.. They aren't giving it away for free.

They recently finished a huge upgrade called "Forever"

Before, there was a free version of Trackmania called "Trackmania Nations"

It was limited to the stadium, had less blocks to build with, a little worse physics and you could only race online with other Nations players.

Trackmania United was the one you had to pay fo...

Whether a game is fun or not is purely up to a persons preferences.

Like if your an MMO fan.. There's tons of MMO's on PC's that people love.

Or you could play this crazy game called Trackmania United that I love so much.

There's something for everyone out there :)

Stop exaggerating things. 4000$? Are you f#$cking kidding me?

No one needs to upgrade there 600$ graphics card every 2 months.

Firstly because "almost" no f*cking graphics card cost's that much.

The average price for a top of the line card these days is 150-300$ Depending on how much memory you want on the card, how new the card is, and other features it might have.

Games don't advance that damn fast. You only need to upgrade your gra...

richierich is a prime example of what NOT TO DO. You paid so much money for crap you didn't need.

RESEARCH PRODUCTS BEFORE YOU BUY THEM!

That 9800GTX has barely any performance gain over the old 8800GTX. Because it uses the same damn graphics chip. So you just paid probably $100+ more then you would have for an 8800GTX. That's called an uneducated purchase, and is a main reason why console fanboys complain about prices.

Quad-core cpu? You do realize pretty ...

What a coincidence this blog post is..

I've been saying these things on N4G for the past few days.

@thor: Uhh... Invent nano-technology?

Maybe you shouldn't talk about stuff you don't know. Nano technology has been around for a long time. And has been advancing at a strong pace.
The transistors on a CPU are a mere 45nm..nm stands for NANOMETERS. That is nano-technology.

And if you actually kept up with recent news, you would know there...

Well at least he didn't go on a rant about GTA. I'm sure Hillary is itching to blast off about it and please voters.

I believe EVERY candidate is going to twist what he/she believes a bit so that they can get elected. Because a large majority of voters don't know what's best for the country, they just have there own beliefs on how they want things to be. So a candidate has to say things in a way that will help bring in the most voters.

Like for instance, I'm sure Oba...

Where just at a breaking point in gaming technology right now.

The advancement of Graphics cards has slowed these past years. While the game industry has been booming and creating more advanced graphics technology at a steady pace.

Graphics card creators have kept at the same pace as them until these recent years.

This can be seen in the CPU and GPU industry.
Instead of an increase in chip performance, they add more chips as a quick fix for people ...

Sneaky tactic, to bad it's going to be short lived tho.

It's a very tiny increase in market share. And may only go up a bit more.

Firefox still dominates, and will dominate over Safari for a long time. The fanbase behind Firefox isn't something Safari can take away.

6624d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Your talking about the newest Safari.

Once Firefox 3 is finished and released, it will run circles around Safari.

Go download the version of Safari that came out when Firefox 2 came out and compare them on the Acid test.

(and btw, HTML and Java are only a very small part of the "technical" area of browsers.
Firefox 2 beats Safari hands down in Security and functionality. Firefox is recommended among the majority of people because of real r...

"so Sony pitched the PlayStation as the console for non-dedicated gamers"

Lol, that part made me laugh. Cause it's funny how it's the other way around. Consoles and PC's are for dedicated and non-dedicated gamers these days.

Interesting read.

Yeah, I played this game a bit so far and i've enjoyed it.

It's nice to see this style of gameplay made again. Reminds me of years and years ago when these types of games were quite prevalent.

Meh, I still doubt it would be enough for them to even get near where Firefox is at.

Due to the fact that Firefox has such a HUGE fanbase/following.

Website dedicated to spreading Firefox even.

Firefox is truly the better browser from a "technical" standpoint.

And on the point of "personal preference", well that's up to the p...

Just build your own computer... You'll save SOO much more money.. Allowing you to build an even better computer instead.

All it takes is a little price hunting on websites for parts. And a little google searching for info on how to put a computer together if you don't know how.

Well Bonsai1214... Explain to me what makes the iPhone so much more "innovative" than existing products from other companies.

Cause.. touch screens have already been done ALOT, so you can't say that. Wireless internet has already been in many phones for quite some time also, so you can't say that.

You know something that's innovative? Nvidia's upcoming APX 2500 hardware that will be used in new phones.

What they did was, they shrunk down their ...

Meh not really lol. It had only taken a few minutes.

Decided to risk my bubbles and speak my mind :P.

It's not so much that I take it really seriously. I'm just a very talkative person. So writing about things that interest me is no problem. And with the auto-spell check I can type faster without worrying as much about mistakes lol.

Yeah, I'm quite happy about this. Yet another great breakthrough in our rapidly growing technological ability.
