Yeah, I dream of a little country where the government is made up of their best Scientist's and Psychologists. People working towards a self sustaining future, not run by greedy corporations. A country that takes a more hands on and interesting approach to schooling, not the sh!tty system we have now. A country where organized religion is finally dead. A utopia of technology, a dream city.

I wish I had billions of dollars so I could buy an island and start that kind of country lol....

I agree 100%. It's sad what society has become, religion has had a big part in this because of it's views on sex and sexually explicit things. It's created this view in society of doing anything possible to shield children from anything remotely sexual to keep them "pure". It's ridiculous. It's people forcing their views on everyone else.

"lol" at all the people reporting this as lame.

This is a News for Gamers website. Not News about games. So anything games or technology related that's interesting goes on this site. Don't report things just because you might not be interested in it. I don't report Halo news even though I don't care about it.

@SaiyanFury:

Well even though they are expensive, SSD's are extremely nice to have. Applications launch almost instantly and any operating system will be amazingly more snappy. They are a real joy to have.

Well Windows 7 doesn't actually take up that much space. Microsoft just does that as a safety measure to help keep complaints down from people with little technical knowledge lol. It's well under 10GB for Windows 7. And you don't need a pagefile on SSD's because of their instant seek time. Pagefile's on hard drive's are a section that's close to the center, where Windows cache's files for quick access. It's not needed for SSD's, saving you a good 2-4 GB's.

Most people shouldn't need...

Yeah, I'd hold out a bit longer for SSD's. They are starting to get into the reasonable price range. Right now it's around $200 for a good 64GB SSD from OCZ. I'm planning on getting one from them when prices drop in a few months though. Since the sheer speed of their SSD's is well worth the price. 64GB is good enough for me, just for my OS, applications and games.

It's not like there's no reasons for that. Unlike Ubuntu, Windows 7 has huge and complicated frameworks it works with. It's a very advanced operating system in comparison to a Linux based system. Linux is like taking DOS and putting a GUI on it. While Windows 7 is the evolution of constant work that's been done over DOS for the past few decades.

Umm, how is Microsoft failing on it again? They have made a new OS that doesn't really require better components than an XP capable machine. Their not pulling a Vista this time.

I can say I'm quite proud of Microsoft and their Windows 7. They seem toe be listening to suggestions left and right, making this out to be quite a great OS. Finally something worthy of an upgrade over Windows XP.

Sarcasm doesn't really apply to that one. Since it's mainly a true statement. And the persons Toshiba cord isn't ruined just from normal use. It's ruined from external forces.

What happening with Apple's is that it destroying itself.

Awesome. Can't wait to see these next generation GPU's from Nvidia and ATI.

@DeadlyFire: Care to site you source? Because I have heard nothing of this, and I'm very into the GPU scene. I know there's on coming in Q4 or late Q3. But not as early as you said.

Less raging fanboys.

It wasn't to many years ago that achievements didn't really exist. So it's not hard to imagine.

Unless of course your into game programming and open source windows apps. then Windows. And also Windows has a much better variety of apps for video editing than Mac's.

1. The point was that you have a CHOICE of the hardware you want. Not a select few hardware configurations.

2. Same as above

3. Pixels are pixels. The pixels are merely larger on a TV. Oh, and you can output the Blue-ray video to your TV. So you can have the "experience". And a person shouldn't have to buy an adapter. It should come included, especially at the price of a Mac.

4. Actually no, VM Ware and Bootcamp don't have 100% computability ra...

Hopefully this will help at least a few bigots of evolution change their mind at least a bit. It's ridiculous that to this day there is still a large portion of people who don't think Evolution is real. Mainly because it conflicts with their religion <_<.

@Perjoss: Not optimized??? Why do you say that? Just because it takes such good tech to run it max?

That's not because it's not optimized lol. That's because it users so many advanced features. They optimized the hell out of CE2, they worked along with Nvidia to do just that. So we could have such a realistic looking world, while still being able to run on current hardware. (of course not on max)
