I have to admit I was kinda hoping for an open world Batman game but then who really bothers to just screw around in a sandbox game these days??
Of course replay value is always an issue with puzzle games. I mean, once you know how to solve all the puzzles what else is there?
Still though, when I stop to think about it. I've played through Portal at least 5 times, enjoyed every single time and plan to play through it again before I start Portal 2. Take a game like Just cause 2, it's built to be incredibly re-playable but I haven't even bothered to get halfway through it once because the experience isn't a...
He should be put on the cover of Kane and Lynch 2.
...No, that wasn't a dog days joke. It's just the cruelest punishment I can think of.
I like some things about Valve and dislike some other things.
Honestly the only thing that worried me about the multiplayer trailer (at least on gametrailers) was the insanely shitty music. I hope it was just that version of it and Naughty dog didn't choose that crappy electro track for the trailer themselves. I know the trailer music might not seem like a big deal but it hints at the tone they're going for and that music made it feel like they were crafting the game toward the crappy dumb COD crowd and trying to remove the classic swashbuckling...
If a urinal can be art I see no reason to place limits upon videogames.
IGN has the worst fucking video player.
I'd love to see the next gen happen if the jump in quality was beyond anything we've seen before. If it was just a case of being able to play console games that look as good as something on a high end gaming PC (or even ever so slightly better) I don't really care.
You were doing so well but you totally overplayed your hand with that last sentence. Nobody could possibly think Portal 2 could/should've been a free app for iphones, no matter how severely brain damaged they were.
I love, no... LOVE Valve's creative marketing of their titles but I can kinda understand people's annoyance. The problem is that the shadow of Half life 3 hangs over everything.
You can't really claim you're going to release the rest of your most well loved franchise (and possibly the most well loved franchise of the past decade) as episodes in order to get them out quicker, then end the second episode on a MAJOR cliffhanger then not so much as speak about the ne...
While we're on the subject. Ladies, please, stop comparing me to Brad Pitt. I'm my own man.
After playing the Sly collection all these past two weeks and just seeing this video for the first time I've reached a definite conclusion, Sucker punch knows how to do sequels.
I usually don't care about boxart but I have to agree, that is a seriously cool cover.
Surely 'most graphically advanced' or something would be a better way to put it. I mean surely the fact that it looks painfully generic and uninspired counts for something.
He's just scared that if he candy-coated his reviews he'd end up eating them before they got published.
Aw son of a bitch, how's about a spoiler warning next time?? I'm trying to remain relatively spoiler free for this one.
I kinda knew he'd be back though, he was such a great character and had to make some kind of return. It's great news, I just didn't really want it this soon.
My tits hurt.
This is pretty good news. The wheel is fine as it is and this should give them much more free time to work on making videogames.
I know it looks a little dumb to disagree with the man himself about this (especially since I'd already read that interview you linked me to) but if you notice, he doesn't really know what Anonymous is, he seems to just think they were Scientology protesters.
Obviously if all you knew about this group was their protests against the cult of Scientology you'd think they were indeed some great champions of free thought and humanism. It's once you find out more about...
To be fair, it doesn't really count as a 'robot' if all it can do is vibrate and buzz.
