@ nikrel:
The problem I have with your crappy personal insight is the fact you complain when YOU throw your review score out on the comment section of a gaming news portal and don't expect scrutiny. You've repeatedly admitted it's just a star wars game and that's the problem. It isnt. It's a star wars BATTLEFRONT game. The THIRD in an already ESTABLISHED series. Jesus, did you even play the others? Do you even care to understand where the negative reviews ...
Combat and weapons are the glaring faults in your review as well as no grade for content per value. I'd give your review a 5/10 for not painting a clearer picture as to what I would be buying, thus breaking my faith in your reviews and never listening to your opinions again.
Have you played ubisoft games in recent years? They're no longer reliable, often buggy and broken, and can't even launch correctly.
I know this post is 2 days old, but I sucked nuts at dark souls. Should I give bloodborne a chance? $50 for all dlc and the game itself sounds like a great deal. I don't mind difficult games but I've bought some real shit bombs lately. Should I be intimidated? Is there a good story? I'm afraid to search the net and get spoilers.
Just think of all the new ps plus titles we can pull from ps2 emulation or ps1 classics.
I just use my 360 or ps3 man. Simple as hitting input, and holding down home button on controller.
Lol console wars? Backwards compatability as its counter? What a crap headline and you should be ashamed of yourself. If you are even a gaming journalist you'd even know sony has announced backwards compatability for ps2 games are coming, so why even write this article without acknowledging that and yet have the audacity to frame the headline in such an inflammatory way. What a piss poor article. Jesus man, at least try harder for my clicks.
Beta/demo this game was garbage. Aiming was extremely clunky and I couldn't kill a terrorist 3 feet in front of me due to poor gunplay mechanics. I'm all for some tactical shooters. Loved rainbow six on original xbox, but this game was impossible to play which is such a shame because the concept on paper and tutorial is phenomenal. I hope the division doesn't end up sucking balls.
Got to give credit for an attempt though. I care enough to comment, but never enough to write an article about it.
I got sick of it after maybe 3 matches. That's all I can play at a time. I enjoy the graphics and sounds but everything else grates on me after 3 matches and I hate myself for buying it, even after the beta.
In the end, fallout is just a great franchise.
I agree, I love fallout 4, but new vegas is still superior. I prefer the way skills and perks were done in it. The gunplay was more rpg like and vats was more enjoyable.
Agreed, I buy everything using the exploit, but all the best stuff comes from legendary enemies and quest stuff as well as pickpocketing.
Doubt it will get fixed. It's an exploit now, but can easily be a supported mod in the future. It takes someone wanting to cheat to do this. It takes away from your experience 0%.
I'm not actually sure what their plan was, but by all means delaying an open beta that is advertised on psn by a day is akin to launching a broken game on day 1. With all of the server issues and lack of content I know many that canceled their preorders. This beta did more harm for the game than good. On the upside I read that future dlc maps will be free, but remember: "Ubisoft, Ubisoft never changes"
They haven't beaten anyone yet. We will see by the games supported when both are released
Played it today. The frame rate was horrible, the aiming was clunky and not smooth. I couldn't sit stationary in game and kill a terrorist 2 feet in front of me due to poor control mechanics. It's sad though bc the conceptis awesome, but it fell flat for me on execution of gameplay basics.
Maybe because it's still fun? You know, the reason gamers game?
I agree with you on a lot of points, but what tips it for me is favoring gunplay over swordplay. Though I admit W3 has better mechanics, fallout just speaks to me for nostalgia sake.
From my understanding the majority of psvr games will not be dependent on using move as a controller. I'm not interested in flailing about in my living room without being able to see what I could potentially break. That being said it's just a whole different level of immersion. I'd love to use psvr to explore witcher 3 or fallout 4, even if I still use my controller. Those 2 games alone if they ended up being psvr compatible just to look around are enough for me to buy it if it...
