@The Pope I bought an xbox one just for halo 5. I had a 360 and never touched a ps3. I bought a ps4 this gen. Halo 5 is a major let down. Multiplayer is all it is. They made half a game and you keep sa Ying congrats and praising it? If that's the case I hope sony never has anything comparable or shitty like halo 5.
Fallout 4 took longer I believe. If not about the same amount of time.

I did, but it's not very good. The similarities are a stretch. You can compare halo to doom. To many other games. Same similarities will be there regardless. It's a hollow moot point.
One has horrible campaign and a great multiplayer. The other has a great campaign and a mundane multiplayer. I don't really see similarities between halo and metal gear.
Black ops 3 beta was a huge eye opener that they have changed the game for the better. I haven't been this excited for a cod since mw2. For once I had fun again in cod.
My point nick is I do not believe any of the positive reviews for the game. I played it, its not a 9 out of 10. How can anyone give a game a near perfect score when the campaign is 4.5 hours, you play 3 of 15 missions as chief. Game didn't launch with big team battle or forge. Games not even complete when they release it. I mean, come on. Is this not evident that they launched early to beat the cod rush? Don't worry, pay $60 now, you'll get the rest eventually... sounds like a 9/1...
Nah man. More people that own it like me are starting to get out review on it and give their opinions. I bought it, I say the single player sucked. Many others say it sucked. Then why are gamers so biased giving it 90/100 with such glaring flaws. 90 out of 100 is for a near perfect game and halo 5 is far from that.
So why aren't the halo 5 fanboys on the user reviews for halo 5 then? Like every other game on metacritic that's exclusive. Same cold be said for all the 100 reviews for a game that clearly lacked story and depth. 90s and 100s are just as biased. So in general consensus a 7.0 is a fair assesment. Mark my words, you read it here first: The NX will outsell xbox one, bc let's be honest, if you own a ps4 and have spare change, you're following the NX and waiting to see what it does. If it lives up to its rumors it will crap all over xbox one sales and market share. The NX is the final pink slip to xbox ones vision as a dominant force this gen.
@wellyUK it's because halo is a balance of so and mp. If halo was a multiplayer only franchise then yes, halo 5 deserves a 9.0 however it isnt. It has an established lore as well as fan base and it's the story that made halo, not just the mp. With respect to that story is about a 5/10 mp is about 9/10, so the metacritic user consensus is about right.
@sammarshall102 I rebought an xbox one just for halo 5. I've played every single halo. This game deserves far worse than a 9.0 every trailer made it seem like there was some big showdown. This isn't halo. This is shit. 3-4 missions as master chief? It's halo. Story is supposed to be about chief. This game would hold a higher score in my eyes, but with the established game mechanic as you playing as master chief almost the entirety of the campaign being changed now as a major halo ...
This review is the most accurate of how I felt with my time with halo 5.
There's also a perk I believe in luck that if your intelligence is shit that you randomly get 3x experience for whatever reason.
