@zero carnage I would buy it if it just let me control camera angles with a wider fov
To be fair in ff viii, the fast forward button will be amazing when drawing magics right out of balamb garden in the beginning. Get your waters, cures, and what not and don't forget the cards. Love getting Lion heart on disc 1. Lots of card playing but worth it and fun if you like the mini game. At any rate I want ff8 badly, then 12, then 9. We have too many games to play already, but I want to drown in all the games this year.
They were so on target 3 Weeks after launch it was already discounted because it's reception and initial sales were not where EA wanted them to be I am sure.
Rocket league being a free ps plus game was phenomenal, adding shareplay in february made the original jack pack party pack phenomenal, adding screens shots when getting trophies fun and memorable, adding youtube streaming for us nooks was great too. This year has been amazing console wise for me. I bought my ps4 in January and have found something to play every single month this year, I'm so back logged I need time in purgatory to play though my games.

@genuine_user
I'm speaking from my experience of the game from the beta I have played. It's just bland to me. Can't even compare it to rocket league just because they both involve cars. I'm sure there's a great deal of skill in hardware rivals just as there is in rocket league, but where one is polished and holds my attention, the other is just too flawed for me to enjoy. Again, not a terrible game, just a very mediocre car combat game and I hope that it e...
Hardware rivals was a free beta last month I believe. It wasn't very fun, pretty bland, and pretty boring at least to me. I can see where he's coming from, but for those who enjoyed it, I understand where they are coming from. Not really a stellar game by any means, but not a terrible one either.
This isn't a movie game. Only thing from the movie is a few character models and the Jakku map and that's it.movie games usually have a single player campaign. That goes with the movies. This one does not.
A game where a dlc pistol that's $10 that a lot of people paid to unlock from level 1 versus us who play the game trying to level up to unlock the last pistol fairly. Now that last pistol most paid money for kills in 2 body shots or 1 headshot. Game is not fun when everyone has the pistol at launch. No thanks, this game fucked me and left me wanting. :(
I agree when it comes to the order. What drives me nuts is that cliffhanger. They better make a sequel and I'm sure if they do, those puzzle pieces better be and will be right next time lol
I'd have to agree with battlefront being the most disappointing. The biggest name developer creating a game with one of the biggest licenses in sound and visuals made a beautiful game with zero substance.
It definitely gets used. One thing I love most about ps4 this gen that never gets talked about is the additional insurances you can buy digitally from the psn store. It's pretty awesome having that these days.
I use my ps4 for netflix, youtube, hulu, amazon, media player streaming movies from my phone to ps4, I use it for everything but surfing the Web. It's convenient for me.
I still play it from time to time, but that dlc does hinder the game in many ways. Locks away better hunters that would be better used against the newer monsters or someone who bought the new monsters from evacuation. Never buy the weapon skins as you only see them or notice during a load screeen. It would've been better if it were character costumes. Ugh and don't get me started on the recent updates where they made the monsters even harder to kill.
@dboyce310 I'm not taking mass appeal in mind as that's even more guess work, but $400 seems about right to me for this kind of tech, that's so new and will be similar priced on pcs vr, so in reality $350 is what I agree with you on though. With that in mind of course.
I bought my ps4 for $400 new, retail. I imagine that's the price of VR
It's fun I'll admit, but when you hit the wall where there isn't much to do, you slam into it.
@venom the game being fun is subjective. To casuals who can't have a conversation about game mechanics and passed iterations, the game may seem fun. To the rest of us where gaming is our passion, release, and escape, they ruined battlefront. Cut all this content out and watered down any semblance of competitiveness that were in its predecessors. I could go on, but I know you don't care.
Can porting be done by the press of a button, without anymore human interaction? If not, there is labor there. Consumers pay for labor costs, plus licensing, plus added features, shareplay, streaming, and trophies with better resolution. Gaming will always be an expensive hobby. If you can't afford $15 to play a ps2 game on current hardware with added features then step back and realize where you went wrong in your career choices. Or just get your ps2 back out, buy a ps2 from ebay, emulat...
But you don't have to buy them? I didn't own them on ps2 so I bought them. If you want trophies, shareplay, and stream support, pay the $7.99 - $15 and just be quiet. It's not a big deal. Really. It isnt.
You can game share on ps4 as well. Shareplay with your friends who don't even own the game. You can do a lot more with the ps4 than an xbox one. You can even use your mic to control the system. Only thing you can't do is say turn on, but hey I can press a button.
