On RL right now, between match on mobile

@satyre, just tell me what the screen specs between the 2 are and you have your answer.

@satyre

Rift will be above and beyond graphics, I read that psvr will be dumbed down graphics in comparison, but who cares? Graphics aren't everything as long as the game is polished and the immersion is there. Also it is bad to compare as they are not competing with each other. Occulus rift ceo said as much in an interview. 2 completely different markets.

@DashArrivals

I'm right there with you. I'm so excited. Ignore the naysayers. I played VR 15 years ago or so at Disney Quest in Orlando, Florida. This is leagues passed that, so I'm ready beyond all else. I can't wait for sony to prove that VR is here to stay and a staple of future gaming experiences for us!

@prancit....
You do realize $11 is a discounted price?

@inthezone you do know psvr will be akin to ps2 graphics, you do know that psvr is not virtual boy. In vr the sense of depth and perspective are real. I never said play those games on a second screen strapped to my face, or are you looking for reasons to argue unnecessarily?

To play those classics in vr is my dream wish.

@nitus I understand what loud means. My ps4 gets loud when it plays games that are rendered 60fps or have a lot of textures going on. Rocket leagye menu for instance, when you pan the camera, at least for me, it gets pretty loud. Like an at home standing fan on setting 2 of 3. My ps4 sits on an end table 10 inches off the wall. I say loud comparatively versus the ps3. It sound just a few hairs louder than the 360. It really doesn't matter to me as long as it doesn't break, it's ju...

My ps4 is loud. It is true. I wear a gaming headset while I play, so the sound it makes really doesn't matter. Size doesn't matter with consoles. The games and system features do. A slim model for any console won't change that. Those that buy a slim model of either will most likely be their second purchase of their preferred brand. I don't really see spend being on the fence for a purchase for such a trivial thing, but then again, we are human -_-

But aren't we forgetting they already have 100+ VR titles in development or existing ones confirmed to support? I think $500 isn't unreasonable. A stretch, but no matter what it will eventually hit ps4 price within the year of its launch. Hello, black friday.

@decrypt I disagree, with the economic downturn the US experienced you saw more gamers emerge. Families began entertaining themselves at home with consoles for themselves and the kids, to offset other activitites. Surely some of the category will be just as excited for VR.

FF13 taught me to never preorder any games unless I've enjoyed the beta. That game let me down so bad. The characters, story, and gameplay were horrendous. If the whole game world was as open as gran pulse it could've been a great game on that merit alone, but alas, all the good stuff didn't happen until the end of the game. I really hated hope. Worst character in FF history that I had to listen to whine consistently. I know his mom died and all, but he never really came into his ...

When Albion hits ps4 I'd be more than willing.

I can't even finish all the ones I bought since feb. Metal gear solid 5, fallout 4, just cause 3, witcher 3, ff14 (I realize it's an mmo, I did hit 50, but screw titan), and more, I'd have to look at my hdd to name them all, but there's a few more purchases from recent months I've yet to dive in to.

Hey infected, I had similar issues at times. Sometimes I had to pause 30 secs then resume a few times to get it to downloading at speed. What really helped me out was when I called sony and they gave me the custom dns server setup to better connect to their download servers. That cleared my issue up. Sometimes, just bite the bullet and give them a call. They want to help

Rift will have better graphics because it will have better tech. Psvr will be along the lines of ps2 era, think no man's sky as that is completely feasible with psvr

It could have been better implemented in destiny. Meeting players in a better spot instead of just the tower. They need a gambling place of sorts to blow off steam, kill bordeom, spend glimmer. Sparrow races you can bet on for some kind of gambling currency. It would be killer to play unique games just for the purpose of meeting people and relaxing. Then teaming up and going on raids or encorporating better elite enemies more a kin to hunts in final fantasy.

@dark

I agree, I don't think xbox one is a bad console anymore than it was at launch. It has evolved into a better machine. What's happened with where users are isn't necessarily a slam against xbox but a message. If we look to the changes MS has made to xbox one since launch its clear they are listening to gamers. It won't be long until they start spreading their games out, taking risks with an ungodly amount of ips, and introducing more new ways to connect ...
