I'm just going to add what made me jump to sony this gen. I started gaming on original xbox at 14. I was a first gen xbox live member. I enjoyed games like wolfenstein multiplayer and rainbow six, I moved to 360 when cod 4: modern warfare launched. That was the must have for me and my best friends. During my long tenure with xbox live I made so many new friends and we played together over the years and still do, but when this gen launched we all waited a year to see what would happen. Wha...
I knew better to click that, but damn did I laugh.
I do too. I def need more games that I can play with my wife like that. I've played it in shareplay 3 times fully over time with different friends. It really was worth the full price for me as I got to enjoy it as well as 5 others. Each experience was fun as I let them make the decisions and handled the qte
I like to tell myself it's because the animations used were from motion capture and if they enabled more freedom of movement it would break the immersion. At least for me. That slow steady pace really adds to the hype for the next scare or split decision making. Not disagreeing in any way, just sharing my perspective.
Rookie monster just roasted you guys with proof. Lmao
@ sorane, instead of complaining it was so eay, why not link it and be constructive in the discussion instead of a hindrance? Rift and psvr are aimed at 2 different markets. Ceo of occulus said as much. Nothing on psvr will be mind blowing graphically, but will be mind blowing immersively. It's about immersion, not graphics. I don't think you understand why vr is hyped so much. It's because the immersion is there. On psvr, on HTC vive, on occulus rift. There is immersion, there is...
@chanfriendly can't we look at ps4 with vr as ps2 was with dvd? That being said, that should be the secret sauce with already 100+confirmed vr titles, or you could go buy a beefy gaming rig and $600 rift.... I think this is where ps4 will have its edge in the end.
I've bought too many titles and don't spend enough time with many that need my attention as rocket league and others have their hooks in me. The age of the gamer continues!
@bakpain, your bubbles say differently.
Just bought bloodborne last week or so when it was kn sale for $30, still haven't had time to play it, because of all the back logged games I own on ps4
I do like pi
Star citizen will eventually support occulus rift. From what I've seen of the game on my father's pc rig I was drooling. I'm a console pleb :(
The flaw in the smartphone argument is there are installment plans. I have a note 4, I pay $30/mo for this at the time $800 phone. Pretty affordable if you ask me.
Just make a second account without plus? Apps aren't gated off if you don't have plus.
You came to a playstation article why? Just wondering. I have xbox too, but what's the point of your comment? I'm sure xbox live is better, it doesn't have the amount of concurrent users that playstation or steam does, but it sure tries hard.
It really wasn't bad. Netflix and youtube still worked fine.
Have fun trying to play the game in 3 years when the servers are offline. Oh wait, you can't because there is no offline component. Lol kids these days. They just make an n4g account and start commenting.
I remember reading them evena making porn for Google glass.
Nah, they expected 13 million units by March or something, doubt they'll touch it.
@darxhyde
The problem was their lineup for me and my friends. The same tired ips you can count on in the holidays were there. We needed different fresh experiences to buy the xbox one. We needed more games spaced through out the year to buy it too. We needed better features or similar features as the competitor to wanna buy an xbox one. They didn't deliver, albeit it was a good try with tomb raider, but as a male gamer, it's just not my cup of tea. I recognize it'...
