I grief players the last day, none of it carries over because it's a beta. So I doubt a lot of that would continue into the final game, but hey players exist on all ends of the spectrum. Mayhaps they should add invulnerable timer when going into DZ for 15 seconds or so?

I'd be happy if it was compatible with rocket league camera. I'd buy vr just so I could turn the camera in those style of games at least.

As a street fighter fan I'm not turned off by this. I'm patient and will just wait for the free stuff to be added before I purchase. Not really a big deal to me in the gaming landscape. Either way, you paid for it you get to play it now with the characters they have or wait for a delay just for more characters. Not really a problem for me and many others.
How about that ps4 version of duels of the planes walkers that was promised, delayed, then forgotten?
Not everyone in the us is wealthy either. I just got married not too long ago and am saving up for my last year of school. Wife and I both work crap jobs, but gaming is a stress release. It's an expensive hobby even for me. I often skip out on dlc these days, rocket league is the exception. $4 is doable vs $50

This article and survey is BS, same one I saw on flipboard. Of those surveyed 80% haven't even tried VR, yet they are qualified to give an opinion on something in the industry they haven't even used. Jesus.
I think of it as console brands vs each other and on the pc side it's graphics card brands vs each other. It's competition, war is nasty, especially if your company is getting trounced in whatever numbers there may be. These articles are dumb, but take me for instance, I had 360 all last gen. I didn't switch to ps4 because it was a better machine. I switched because I was tired of the xbox brand and how they treated me as a consumer last gen.

Man that sounds like an awful lot of work, don't buy a subscriptions service or play online for 4-5 years....etc.etc... not very user friendly, plus there's a lot more to know when jumping into pc gaming.

I've learned my lesson from ubisoft last gen on 360. I've skipped everything from them this gen except monopoly deal and the division. They have become like EA to me lately and so am very wary and selective of what games to buy from them when I do.
I'll end up getting destiny 2. I'm weak, but at least ceo of bungie resigned and hopefully they will get destiny 2 right. They'll need a lofty open beta to bring who they lost back though
You need to play carefully. As you go up in dark zone brackets you'll find better loot
On launch you'll be able to sacrifice textures for fps or vice versa. Finally be able to do a small percent of what pc users are able to do.

Most people who own a wii u or will own an NX will already own a ps4 or xbox one, why would the devs spend money porting then?
