I just want great games , i don't care about either hardware manufacture , just give us the games.
To be honest that's an amazing achievement for microsoft , they moved %300 more than the first Xbox in the US while sony dropped by %50 , after seeing this now i understand why M.patcher is predicting that microsoft will win the next gen.look at the amount of improvement, but kinect is crap though.
True , best thing about next gen is that finally PC versions will be expanded and get more graphical enchantment instead of just mostly better resolution and Anti-aliasing .
it makes you realize that really at the end of the day it's ALL about the games , graphics and services is a plus but games is what will sell the console . Always .
Well , it's on PC which is technically next gen (at least as far as resolution , space screen shadows , antialising ) .
Pretty sure it's meant for the textures and modern HUD/GUI scale , screen size doesn't mean anything.
Nice move MS , release age of empire on Steam (and not the windows store) for people to play and remember how awesome the game is, then at e3 announce a sequel for the Xbox720 that will feature full control using Kinect , and you have got the attention of the hardcore PC gamers toward your controversial device.

As much as i hate to say this but get yourself a PC and pirate any game with micro transactions in it + full retail price. dead space 3 is a perfect example, EA doesn't deserve to be supported for being greedy.
This comparison is not fair at all , the 3ds video was shot using a video camera which is the culprit for all of the blurriness , the game looks much better than that.
Like always , just get it on PC and run it from a fast HDD/SSD if possible .
As much as i don't like how nintendo is always behind in term of specs(intentionally) and services i don't think that it's even possible that the wii u would fail , i mean people just CAN'T ignore a new HD zelda(i know i can't) game and there's super smash among others.

won't be graphically better than playing the game using PCSX2 no matter what , they just want to rise their stock prices by trying to spread positive news as always , this is square enix after all. a simple 480 to 544 resolution won't be enough for me to justify a purchase , we want better models, textures ,spell effects , shadows , lightning , animation and more content along with a dual voice option that's if they wanna try to change their horrible , greedy reputation.
Well , there one fact that everyone seems to forgot , the leaked Xbox specs (yes the most recent ones) are NINE months old.
don't jump to conclusions , what if the xbox indeed block used games but gets exclusivity from developers like ? next GTA ? Final Fantasy ! Assassins Creed ? Batman Arkham xxxx ? . there are so many games that can completely turn the tide if it went exclusive . which is sad actually , because we will be the ones that lose in the end.
The thing is , if there's no used market prices WON"T drop on new games that easily , just like with digital downloads(guild wars 2 just as an example). so it's a double lose for us consumers.
I'm assuming the Xbox is the "x8" here if the rumors are indeed true ?!.
Well , that's a double loss for Nvidia because now that the AMD chip is ready they will just enjoy selling it for the next 5-10 years AND use that money to combat Nvidia's cards.
