I game on a 4K OLED TV and it's glorious, coming from a g-sync 160hz screen the trade off from pure performance to pure quality is more than worth it. especially with HDR titles for PC coming soon(such as Resident Evil 7) monitor users will be missing out.
This game is gonna flop , really doesn't feel like a AAA game to me. From the bottom of my heart, i wish they prove me wrong . Dislike all you want but as soon as the reviews hit you are gonna eat your foot. I got my PS4 Pro ready just in case.

No, in Base mode the console will run exactly the same as regular PS4 , even the CPU/GPU frequency will be the same according to Mark Cerny . Here is the quote from his interview with Eurogamer :

Microsoft actually has the technology to pull this off , the current Xbox one is already running two separate operating systems . Either allow full windows 10 or they can just white-list each game like with the backward compatibility and have it boot directly from the Xbox interface.

So i will only speak from my point of view as a consumer looking to get my first VR headset. I own a good PC that is enough to handle the requirements for Oculus Rift and i also have my trusty PS4 since lunch . I'm a hardcore , old fashioned gamer and love playing games such as Bloodborne , Uncharted , The Last Of Us .
