I mean we have the Witcher on switch........ so.. , imo GPU difference acts as a sort of free advertising throughout the generation which is also important tbh. Look at this gen we still get the "best console to play Xyz" with every major game release and digital foundary articles.
haha I like your example. yes that would be awsome.
Why is this even news ? game devs can make whatever they want.
Nice, very clean and modern looking. happy the touchpad and light bar are still there for steam customizations too. Though a bit surprised they are not using the signature ps colors for the buttons, but personally I prefer this.
DF did a piece on this, Xbox X running at full-fat 3840x2160 with higher quality shadows and depth of field while the Pro is at 2880x1620. For those not doing the math, that's 4.6 vs 8.2 million pixels the X is pushing. of course, if you have freesync that's cool but otherwise, capcom needs to tone it down a bit or add a preset option.
Players are the ones that make it happen, not the investors or developers or hardware companies so it's fair for them to expect front row seats in information reveals.
Okay so Mark was just being ignorant, like I said don't except Sony to "settle down" with a weaker box they have to hype something or the marketing team is basically dead wight to the company. Oh well this is clearly a first party console which is fine.
Thats called denial, there's really nothing to debate one is much more powerful while the other well get you in the game 2 or 4 seconds faster. 36 CU will not perform like 52 on the same architecture no matter what. CPU that hover from 3.2-3.5 won't perform like one that that can do 3.6 - 3.8 no matter what. What kind of debate are you expecting, please enlighten us?
wow explain why they were silent this whole time, no one wants to come out and say their hardware is 30 percent weaker than the competition.
Have you ever heard of a big software sound system from Sony ? when you go to see Spiderman in theater you pay extra for high-end audio which is Atmos not "Tempest", AND if you watch Mark Cerny's presentation the room they used to create the Profiles for Tempest is actually Microsoft's Silent audio room, look it up. So to answer your question no they don't, they are doing an in house solution to save on licensing.
Atmos for Headphones(no special hardware needed) has been around for years on Xbox AND PC and not many games use it, also loading times is just a nice bonus but it never really stopped Bloodborne from being one the best games ever made. I wouldn't really consider these two anything but just "good to have", I would rather wait a few seconds and get the better looking and smoother game.
The Power of the Cloud 2020 Edition where it really won't matter for 99 percent of the games. Forget Dolby Atmos those folks may have decades of audio experience but we have TEMPEST, Atmos is cross-platform and works on PC, Consoles, and Phones, but who cares WE GOT 100 CHANNELS :)
That made zero sense, all we know for now is Sony lost round 1 and will have the shittier looking games. Just facts not opinion.
Its 2tf AT BEST for Sony and could go lower , same for the CPU too.
Lol true
Of the shelf that can run a fully ray traced mine craft from AMD?. Also the whole sound bs is Sony's version of "the cloud" something that pretty much won't matter for 99 percent of games.
I actually found it really amusing he even mentioned it , i was like wait.... is it?
Game pass , game pass , game pass , unless you're buying a PS5 to watch Netflix on it you WILL pay more to play those first party launch titles, regardless of console price.
You can play pretty every first part title from MS with the season pass for less than 10 bucks a month , how much would getting all the good PS4 titles cost ? At least 250 to 600+ , close to an entire next generation console. I'm just saying that an Xbox at this time is a Hell of a good deal and makes much more sense.
Awesome, they did a lazy job with enhancing the ps4 pro version of Yakuza 6 even tho the engine itself is amazing so it's much appreciated to be able to crank the graphics up on PC like with kiwami 2
