Must.. see.. more..
God I freaking love ALIENS!
Not bad for a human. Cant fecking wait!
OMG! That is too awesome.
I seriously can not wait for E3.
And by the way, Vas does use an M41A, later in the movie. ;)
I still love D&D myself, but after playing the Xbox arcade trial game of this I just cant in good conscience hand over the 1200 msp. The game mechanics and RPG systems are not really representative of D&D, just too basic hack & slash here. May as well play something similar like Diablo or Torchlight which feel much more complex. IMO if it isn't using the D&D licence to its fullest potential then I don't really see the point. Also it doesn't feel very polished, I en...
"Additional Surprises" = most likely Aliens Colonial Marines. Its pretty much the only thing they have right now that will get western core gamer audiences interested I think.
Not all games need a competitive MP component. In fact, games that don't bolt it on tend to turn out a whole lot better overall.
Its become too much of a shooter.
Mostly seems to be JRPG's in the list. Where are all the great underrated WRPG's like Troika's Arcanum, Temple of Elemental Evil and Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines?
Both are awesome! but NV just takes the lead slot for me due to Hardcore Mode. Also I preferred the RPG balancing in Obsidian's game. It just seemed better fine tuned than FO3. I honestly cant get enough of these games, so i'll def be picking up this DLC.
The only thing I care about is, will it go back to being a classic BioWare CRPG?
I dont really care about teh romance.
How you anyone not like shootin peeps in teh face!
Never really liked Assassin's Creed. I did try, I have like 50GS combined in the first two games, but just never really feel like playing them. Rainbow Six and Splinter Cell are my favourite Ubi games. Though I'm not keen on the new third person shooter direction they took conviction. The first one and Chaos Theory were by far the best. And Ghost Recon, that's gone down hill too since it went third person Michael Bay, Hollywood. I shudder at the thought of were the next R6 will en...
Yeah the Trailer was great. But it does not represent the game-play articles ive been reading. This game went from not on my radar to 2nd place on my must play vid games to back off my radar.
I'm really not interested in hack n' slash.
Still want a serious open world zombie survival game in vein of The Walking Dead, 28 Days Later or Dawn of the Dead (Remake). Not an arcade shooter or slasher.
Ha great list. And I agree. All those news articles are a pointless waste of time... and space.
BTW, you forgot to mention Online Store release dates submitted as a reliable sources of game release date info. Worst offender is N4G, sadly.
Here's one:

Fact is, unless a release date is announced off...
Sega already confirmed in January's Game Informer magazine that the November release date is false. Why do people keep posting online store dates as reliable information?
Unless its official from the publisher or developer then its 100% unreliable. Stores do not have up to date information.
This game will most likely see a 2012 release.
Red River is a very good game. And I agree about not beating CoD. The CoD's and BF's are just too engrained into gaming culture atm, regardless that many of us are already sick and tired of them. We still gonna have to wait for everyone else to catch up and grow tired too, before things change.
But I will say this. It takes games like this, to make that happen.
Well said Ahasverus. Its repeatedly disappointing to see sequels go in this direction. And the true gamers / fans being left out to dry.
Bioware started with something really unique and meaningful in ME1. To me it was art in game form. It brought something really special and genuinely creative to the world.
ME2 (while fun combat wise) just didn't have the same intelligent appeal and maturity imo. And by the sound of this, ME3 wont be trying to recapture t...
*Insert long disappointed sigh here*
I'm playing Mass Effect 1 again at the moment. While it had some crappy A.I issues, the game was so much better in many ways than ME2. The RPG elements, the writing, the visual design, the sleek armour designs and all the loot. Just the overall experience felt much more mature with that exploratory space and classic retro sci-fi feel. ME2 feels so much more generic and "dumbed down" when you go back and play the original.
Great article, and I agree with every word 100%
These are by far the worst words I like hearing when it comes to sequels. Every game that has ever done this has been a disappointment on some level. At this point, I automatically know its going to be a lesser experience. And because of that, i'm just starting to avoid some sequels when the developer openly admits its going for the wider audience. I assume as more people smarten up (ala Dragon Age 2) we'll see gamers gr...
This game is done by Gearbox. Rebellion did AvP2010 and I agree it was not very good. Gearbox on the other hand have a great track record so my hopes are very high for this one.
