If MS really put money behind this game you'd be damn sure it would be a real exclusive. That is the difference between tr, bb, and sfv.
If square didn't ha e the money to complete it, Ms is not going to I've them money to finish it on 3 platforms, just 1. Thats how you know these are duck tales. Ms has "exclusivity passion".
No one would make a stink about it if interviews like these didn't exist trying to make it seem like somethin...
@Transporter47
Once the user base gets big enough, they will be able to dictate the price to publishers.
It varies from Netflix in that there is no other service that can compete with PSNow (as of this moment). I dont see this changing in the near future, so Sony can corner the market if they extend the service to all devices (android windows IOS, tv, anything with a pulse). The user base would increase drastically, which gives Sony leverage to tell publishe...
As far as software sales go, the 360 was far more popular than the ps3, even with soaring failure rates. the high price of the ps3, accompanied by the software failures of ps3 multiplat games, and finally, the differences in gaming cultures (fps and sports games are not the focus of the ps3) is the reason why multiplats sold higher on 360.
@moldy bread
A software purchase will never be 1:1 with a hardware purchase, so dont look at hardware sales being coupled with so...
Everyone knows most people had at least 2-3 360's due to defective systems. Even with MS's warranty, I know plenty of people who still bought a new 360, due to wanting it now / lazyness / whatever. Only an ignorant fanboy would argue against this. IMO, if not for its high failure rate, the 360 in terms of hardware sales would be around 70-80% of what they are today.
The way this reads made me actually burst out laughing
"TLOU, game of the decade"
"BB, Best game of the last 10 years, aka best game of the decade"
"UC, Infamous, Order, No Mans, GOW, LG - all games of the decade"
@Naga
You could say the same thing about BC.
Its really just being able to have quality games that you can display via camera. Any type of game can be a hardware seller as long as its quality!!
It looks like they've upped the resolution, but taken some of the detail out.
yes FF7 is a "timed" exclusive. However, if they get the game right, which everyone knows they must, can you imagine the Sony hype engine behind it once its ready to launch? It will be (kinda already is) deemed a Sony game; a guaranteed system seller. Every commercial / ad will mask it as a PS game.
For anyone saying Sony didnt win E3, youre crazy. Everything Sony does is strategic, everything MS does is tactical. Same goes for BC vs PSNow, yea I can play what i pre...
They can't retell the story with a different look and feel, battle system, etc and call it FF7. If the core concepts are changed, not isometric, not turn based then its not FF7, its something else.
Comparing this to PSNow is a comparison of apples and oranges. With this feature, MS has a vertical solution for example: if you happen to have 360 games, you can play them on your x1 for free.
Sony has a horizontal solution for example: it doesn't matter what you have / don't have, you can access it all for a fee.
Its a cool feature, but in the end its really a tactical move by Microsoft to get get more legacy gamers, vs Sony's strategic move t...
I would say they delivered on TLOU, UC1 and UC2. UC3 was repetative and boring IMO. It also kinda glitchy. However the way they are talking aboug UC4 I have no doubt they will deliver. It'll probably be 9.7-10.
Need for Speed: Speed for the Need
I was excited for this game mid 2013. Now, just give me a release date or stfu.
Dont know where I read this but some guy posted "Xbox is the BEST box for gaming and entertainment." It was so corny and I laughed so hard that juice I was drinking came out out nose.
Seeing this boss fight reminded me how boring and repetitive this game became as it got towards the end. I hope they can reinvent themselves for pt 4.
Because DX12 articles boasting the improvements and idiotic comments like 'X1 will now be 50% more powerful' go hand in hand. Most people mention PS4 just to put perspective on it.
Bloodborne always exceeded it, even when 1886 was released. The game is a masterpiece. The artwork, level design, gameplay, atmosphere, everything is so intricate and well thought out. They should have released the order as is so that I would have been judged as a first gen game. It is a decent game, but I look forward to them focusing on gameplay and engrossing the player the way bloodborne does for pt. 2!
I think this generation is going to last longer than 5-6 years. That average was taken at a time when it wasnt as costly to come up with new hardware/software. Ialso feel that it has to be mandatory for backwards compatibility, since games are getting more and more expensive. I see Sony/Microsoft getting into a room and agreeing on when they should both release a new console, to guarantee competition and sales, but I do not see that happening in 3-4 years, since they will want to milk their c...
Xbox one sold at least 20 mil. Only a few mil to go and they'll be caught up to ps4. It really is a close race. By end of year I expect xbone up by at least 5 million. Tomb raider will get the Xbox to 30 mil sold to consumers, 50 mil sold to stores. By end of Sept at least 60 mil sold to families, so by mid august expect the official numbers to be 80 mil sold through the market. Look for a huge jump in the next week or so to bring the final numbers of this week to over 100 mil sold to end...
