This is not a price comparison article it’s a lack of foresight for a relatively expensive optional novelty item article. If they wanted to maximize its chances for success they should have made it backwards compatible.
The average PlayStation player is not comparing psvr to pc vr because pc’s were never on their radar in the first place.

I’m not spending 60 bucks on a 7.0 there are simply too many games that deserve my money more.

This is a perfect example of why I think COD going to Xbox is a sure fire way to kill the franchise unless Microsoft lets them work in complete isolation which will not happen.
All the money in the world cannot fix broken internal processes which generate shit games. That last Halo is the poster boy for how Microsoft intends to treat its games going forward.
