Whatever. Just keep that 1st party sea of z’s, redfall, halo, etc energy over there we like playable games over here. We demand more while xbox owners are grateful for whatever they get.
If you have a thriving service then you don’t need a console. See how that works?
It was setup to fail by Phil. He said their internal reviews loved it. He signs off on it being 70 dollars. He saw the game before release (when it was even worse) and knows damn well it shouldn’t be anymore than 40.
Checkout the latest interview. He spews nonsense for almost an hour about how quality counts but negates the entire interview by saying making great games isn’t their priority.
The $70 dollar price tag made redfall a big deal whether you like to admit it or not.
His job is on the line you can here it in his voice and his demeanor.
The Xbox console should fall under the vaporware category not video games
You have to understand that white is the most over represented race in entertainment. You’ve had decades of all white movies, games and still continue to have them to this day. It’s a sliver of a percentage of ‘other’ represented in this medium yet white people complain about misrepresentation/under representation when it’s largely white people making this content in the first place. You not only want to have your cake and eat it you get angry if anyone else has a little piece.
I can’t wait for them to ruin COD. It’s time to move on…
my issue with Horizon is that for as good as it looks its still using ps2 game mechanics. One thing I like about BoTW is that you can literally climb up everything. Horizon should have the same mechanic not designated areas. The better the graphics the more this stands out as a miss.
@badz149
I would say neither Sony NOR Marvel can make the independent determination to include Spider-Man in a game, however Sony owns all merchandise and movie rights.
“Because of Sony’s unique relationship with Marvel and PlayStation, specifically, that gives us an affordance with Spider-Man that we wouldn’t have otherwise. So that’s something unique because of that relationship”.

Eonjay,
Wrong, Sony owns Spider-Man since 1997 or so. Marvel is the one that has to ask THEM to use the license.
Edit: Sony fully owns Spider-Man, and related characters including ALL merchandise as long as they release a movie every 5.75 years. They agreed to the Marvel movies because they got a 25% cut of the profits.
So after 3 generations of of no new ips they end up buying existing ones and here you are acting as if they’ve accomplished something. I guess everyone’s ass is for sale if the price is right.
was this made in Dreams?
What’s your opinion on why arcade games aren’t loved on consoles? Why aren’t play and go games desired? Why are Crazy taxi, Daytona usa, virtua cop type games only reserved for vr now? I’m asking a lot feel free to ignore lol
Going from 12 to 13 was a step in the right direction even though 13 was awful as well.
I had Spotify for like 6 years. As soon as they fucked the interface up on the phone I switched to Apple Music. It’s not as good imo but the point is no one can fall asleep at the wheel and expect to stay in the lead. Buckle down crank some good ass games out CONSISTNETLY and I’d buy an Xbox it’s as simple as that.
The reality is they really don’t care if people buy an Xbox. The plan is macro (multi system w. Game pass). However they can get you is fine with them.
