I’ll play it for a buck and then delete it
They’re trying not to give fans a choice by owning everything behind the scenes. Their vision is somewhere down the line we make money off of that game you’re playing so accept it or find another hobby.
Just focus on exclusive arcade like experiences and they’d find their footing with new hardware. No it won’t sell the most or be the most powerful but the fun factor will be there.
To the authors point they have people transforming into magical creatures and using magic. Comes off as nitpicking.
No. 11) Don't get married.
There will be mass disappointment when they see the effect is minimal.
This isn’t product competition Phil Snakester already told you Microsoft’s motto. “Making a good game does not mean more sales” (not that they’ve made anything good but the point still stands). They are buying up all 3rd party to turn them into 1st party.
Just like the rich father in Willy Wonka Xbox is the bratty child that wants all the golden eggs no matter the cost but is now being exposed as a rotten egg and we all saw where those go, down the toilet.
Literally not false. All combat is smashing the square button unless you wanted to throw some magic. You smash square, heal, smash square, fireball, smash square, special move. Smash square, smash square, rob e and repeat.
I felt the same it was a decent demo but all this hype about it is overkill. It was mostly comprised of watching movies and mashing the square button until you needed to heal, then mash it some more.
Story wise it felt FF12ish which imo was the worst one by far.
The demo was ‘mash square to win’. I don’t see what all the fuss is about honestly.
You’re really trying to hold Phil Slickster to his words in 2023? Lmao..
I hope this pains me. More competition is better. That being said, one damn game comes out looking decent in previews and all of a sudden Xbox has done a 180 lmfao. Not to mention it’s a 3rd party game that was paywalled :dead:
I thought the art work was decent but the combat was kind of stiff and bland. Feels like a bb wanna be clone in a bad way.
Don’t forget the worlds first quadruple A studio, an Xbox “exclusive” :dead:
I’d much rather this than “I was gonna buy the collectors edition but instead I’ll get it for a dollar on gamepass!”
Somethings are more than about getting paid. Knowing a product you worked on for years (potentially missing your family and certain life events) to debut at the local dollar general store is absolutely insane.
“I was gonna pay 300 for this game now I’ll just get it on game pass for a dollar!” This is such a FU to the dev team.
Hey! Here’s the rub, just don’t buy it.
In Microsoft world a 7/10 is a W so the bar is pretty low.
