Awesome. But I am gonna get the Kepler card. I think we are supposed to have a flood of kepler news tomorrow. Not sure if the NDA is gonna lifted tomorrow or if Nvidia is just doing a PR event about it.
I would not have a problem with digital only since I buy most of my PC games that way now.. EXCEPT how often do you think ANY of the consoles will run digital sales even close to what STEAM, Origin, or D2D do? Not gonna happen.
You'll be paying $50+ for a game up to 2 years old on a regular basis if consoles try to go digital only.
I play in 3D on multiple monitors. That is why. :)
@ Below. I only have the 27inch ACER full 3D/LED monitor for 3D. Then two more acers for 3 screens. I don't do all three in 3D. I saw it once where all 3 monitors were 3D but the glasses cut off the two on the sides and it just didn't look right to me. I figured with the huge hit to performance and peripheral vision being so lousy I would save myself some money and just game in 3D on one monitor.
If those numbers are true it is not exactly head and shoulders better than the newest AMD flagship. But this isn't supposed to be the new high end card is it? I thought they are releasing the first step down from flagship first then releasing the actual high end card a little later? Or am I completely incorrect?
When 8gigs cost (wholesale) around $17 I'm not too worried about cost..
Yeah, the only people who say they have a problem with this are politicians when seeking re-election. No one (generally speaking) in American cares how skimpy the outfits are.

8 gigs would be awesome. But I wouldn't hold my breath for more than 6. And that is if they wanna be generous.

With the $$$ that Apple has I am surprised they have not tried something more than AppleTV/iOS devices to get into peoples homes. Right now they could subsidize the hell out of a powerful console/media extender and beat the competition into the ground if they played their cards right.
However, me being an "apple hater" I do not want to see that happen. But if any company is poised to do such a thing it is them. Right now. Why they still have the cash to do it.

Looks good. Can't wait to buy one of these cards this month. Though after playing games like BF3 max settings that demo doesn't actually look all that mind blowing. (still impressive though)

On topic- While I certainly agree that his latest games have not been as awesome as his early work was I won't go so far as to call him talentless.
As a PC dev he was AWESOME. I have a lot of great memories from the late 90s, early 2000s, playing his games. His transition into the console realm is what has left his career somewhat muddy. But I am hoping that will change with his new move.
Maybe Sony is taking our (lack of) marketing concerns to heart finally?

Here is just a few - Fallout series (ALL, even the old ones)Witcher series, Stalker series, just about any RTS game I've ever played, The Old Republic (MMO, I know, but I "finished" my consular's story), Crysis series, the old Baldurs gate series, the old diablo series, a crap ton of indie games like Limbo, Mass Effect series (just picked up part 3)... the list goes on. And that isn't counting the multiplayer games I play like Team Fortress 2,...
I LOVED the first two Uncharted games. But I never finished playing UC3 because it just didn't hold my attention after a few hours. Not saying it isnt a good game. Just didn't hold me like the first two.
And unlike the first two ME games I haven't bought it day one yet. I may way for a few patches so I can play the game the way it was meant to be.
