My only question is that this article claims that the GPU is based off of the 7000 series GPUs but then later claims it has a "tessellation unit". The 7000 series has native support for tessellation. Is this claiming that there will be a dedicated piece of silicon that handles tessellation apart from the video card? For a "low end" console the specs are very respectable if this article is accurate. Certainly head and shoulders above current gen consoles.

No, the controls being used were obviously a gamepad and the textures were not very high quality either. The attention to world detail and lighting are just really good in 1313. Kinda like like Uncharted 2/3. It gives the game a much better "look" because it isn't just four flat walls and a few console panels.
But unlike most of the news we get they were at least half right this time around. :)
It looked like console footage to me. Not sure why everyone thinks it was running on some beast of a rig.
^^ And probably half of that or more is slated for the next generation console.
I had fun with it. But I would not consider it great or fantastic by any means. I'm already back to playing Dota 2 beta and un-installed D3.
I'm still getting it for PC but glad the extra content is making its way to the consoles as well.
I am looking forward to T2 more than I ever was D3. Its just more of a "diablo" game than D3 if that makes any sense.
One of the reasons I still haven't played this game is because I am waiting for Steam to let me DL it. :) PC FTW!

Lol, this game has more options and more customization than Diablo 3.
I'm actually looking forward to this game more now that I have played through Diablo 3 and am less than underwhelmed with it.
My favorite (for its time) was Spiderman: Separation Anxiety back in the day.
I have to force myself to play with my friends. It just isn't a Diablo game. No stats to make my char build the way I want, the constant online is a real downer so far, and the millions of hiccups/lag spikes make the game not as much fun as I feel it could be.
I would not give it a 5/10, but a 7/10 would be the highest I would give this game in its current state.

Of course it will happen. Anyone that has played the beta can easily tell that everything from the watered down gameplay to the way abilities work that it was made for a controller.
Doom, Half Life, and Duke Nukem 3D. In that order from #1-#3 would have been my choices. But I am probably a little older than the author so..
I guess I am the only one hoping ZombieU is as awesome as it appeared it could be.
