My pyromancer from Dark Souls owns all.
My launch day Xbox lasted 4 years before my daughter broke it. My second Xbox I bought used lasted all of a month. The S model Xbox is still going strong.
My 60gb PS3 has barely been used but still works great.
What didn't you like about it? I played the hell out of it for about a month before I moved on to the DotA 2 beta.
As opposed to what? A hand full of console exclusives? A lesser gaming experience? Paying more per game and getting less in return? (lower gfx, less mods (if any), paid DLC, and less options)

I think the only console that can actually do anything DX11 related is the Xbox and ONLY because it can do tesselation. Nothing else is possible.
I was scratching my head wondering why I was looking forward to this game so much. I couldn't help but feel like it was "meh" by the end of the "beta".
Seriously. I can't really say what it is exactly but I was really underwhelmed.
I think Dragon's Dogma will be just fine. The rest however I can see being missed out on.
It is time for a new generation. The market is so saturated with current consoles/used software for the current consoles that it is stagnating.
I have no idea how I missed those. I have not played Wargame though, is it any good? I've noticed it being for sale on STEAM but I have not picked it up yet.
DotA 2 beta and Legend of Grimrock are all I have been playing lately.
I'm really having a lot of fun with this game.
DotA 2, CnC Generals 2, and StarCraft 2 (plus expansions) all say hello.
Don't make shit games (like CnC:4) and expect it to sell. The market is there. The games however are lacking. Bad games=Poor sales.
Seeing as how there is still plenty of time to release this content on the consoles I don't see why this article even exists. If they announced they WILL NOT release this content on the consoles then I can understand it. But that is not the case.

Don't play it if you can't afford it. After school you'll have plenty of downtime and more money.

And with so many PC games now days also being made for console the fact that the PS4 will have an AMD APU in it will mean great performance optimization that will hopefully translate into improved performance on the PC side of things as well.
There is simply now way (assuming the specs leaked in several places were correct) that this system is not capable of out performing both the PS3 and the Xbox360.
DX10 video card, 1.5megs of RAM, and a 4-6 core IBM CPU with an improved architecture over the one in the 360 would simply demolish what the current gen consoles can accomplish.

They wanted loot to be the new "stat". Why? So they can make money off of the auction house through micro-transactions.
This way instead of being able to tweak your char through stats you have to get the best gear available to have an edge in PvP. The only way to do that is either get really lucky and get all the ultra rare drops yourself or be forced into buying it with real money.
