I think it is very likely to happen. PC games make a FORTUNE and the vast majority are tied to a personal account of some sort that makes it impossible to resell or trade. The PC is also proven that always connected internet and digital distribution has reached mainstream potential.

I thought it was rated worse because it was a 3rd person action game and not a survival horror game.
If I wanted 3rd person action I would go play Gears or God of War. NOT Resident Evil.
I loved Terraria but hated minecraft.
And any guy that chooses his family over a product that was sold as complete when it launched (and yet still had a lot of updates after launch) is a good guy in my opinion.
Of course it has it. The PC has had eyefinity for how long now? 2 or 3 years? ALL the current AMD video cards support it and since the new consoles have AMD video cards they will of course support it as well.
But don't expect it to be much. It takes a LOT of power to run 3 monitors. And the consoles will not have that sort of power.
If you have read any of the articles or paid any attention to the news you would know that there is no confirmed price yet. Convenience? It is a console like all other consoles. And finally, yes, it comes with its own controller which is why steam has made such a big push lately with big picture mode and controller support for their existing library of games but also has all the ports you need to support keyboard and mouse should you choose.
They've shot themselves in the foot if it costs that much.
IMO this was the BEST RPG on the PS1 that was ever made. I liked it soooo much better than the likes of FF7. Better story, better gameplay, better everything.
My twitch reflex certainly is what it was 15 years ago. That is for sure. Strategy games I've noticed don't tend to suffer as much as twitch (FPS) type games though.

I finally see a future where there is enough native support for gaming under a Linux OS I may finally be able to ditch windows for good.
^^ I am pretty sure that steambox will be all digital downloads or installed once and tied to your account and unless you sell your account ( some people do ) then you will NOT be able to sell your games from them to someone else either.
BUT unlike Sony and the rest Valve has deals so cheap on a regular basis that you will be tempted to buy games you might not normally even be interested in just because it is so cheap so it has its upside too.
My way of dealing with it will be to buy the competitions consoles and never purchase ANYTHING from Sony.
Then Sony can deal with lost revenue and closing down their consoles division.
Steam is COMPLETELY different than origin or D2D. Although slowly Origin is mimicking Steam but still years behind.
Does other companies have Big Picture, integrated forums, reviews, demos, integrated friends list, recommendations, cross game chat, automatic updates, and extremely low holiday sales???? NO! They don't.
Console gamers will more than likely be happy with one of these parts in their machine. It is a respectable part in terms of power. (for a console)

Honestly, this game sounds decent. But it ISN'T because they chose a half black female lead character.
I think it will sell well. A LOT of PC guys I know that refuse to purchase a console have all told me that they will without a doubt be supporting Valve's "console" (not really a console, but a trojan horse to put a PC in the living room) because of things like Valve's steam service, sales, and support.
I will be purchasing one. But then again I will also be purchasing the next Xbox and PS as well.
It is a fun game. I like LoL but I much prefer Dota 2. I am guessing so you will as well.

The new APU from AMD in a cheap motherboard, 8 gigs of ram could be had for around ~$300 and run things at the same low rez textures and low to mid settings that the WiiU runs its games at easy. Top that off with the fact that PCs are not subsidized in price like a console and that is really telling.
