I find it MUCH better that there is a clear cut winner. Why? Because it will force the other two to try harder and make better products if they want to stay in the game. One company doing better than the other is always good so long as the competition doesn't die off.
I have been wondering how far behind MS will have to be before admitted they made a mistake and reversing policies back to a more consumer friendly model. I don't think this "always online" and "1-24 hours check ins" are that crucial they couldn't update their systems and try to play nice with us. I was an xbox fan this and the past generation. I won't be buying an xbox this coming gen unless things change.
Walmart lets you open or conceal carry in their stores. If you get stabbed it is because your aim sucks! :)
LOL! Which is the EXACT OPPOSITE of the unfinished state that Diablo was released in.
I get excited about new consoles because the new hardware will finally allow us on the PC to get games that push the limits more. The new MMO/Massive/Persistent games that were announced at this E3 proves that new consoles while not being earth shattering (or even new) are becoming more common and better games are made for us in the process.
But I do LOL every time I read about 60fps or 32+ player online games. We've had this stuff for forever.
Probably the VIVO parts in the xbox if I had to guess.
Hands down without a doubt they won. And they did it while slapping MS and their anti-consumerism policies in the nuts.
The one and only advantage is a closed hardware architecture making it easier to optimized for. But that one advantage is kinda huge.
But then PC comes along and takes winning position in all else.
Sony won the next gen before it even started. And it was mostly because MS handed it to them on a silver platter.
I can't wait to get my PS4 in the mail. Already pre-ordered it Amazon.
No, it IS required for multiplayer. He said so (by omission) and so did the slide on the screen stating it was required.
I personally can't wait. For me this is the most surprising game so far.
Should rename it to "Zombies Must Die". It looks crazy fun but you can see Orcs Must Die written all over it.
I hope they fix the crappy character animations too. It seems strange to see dead rising going "serious" but I have to admit it made me want it.
You know, if you don't count GOG.com, Steam, Sony, etc..
Especially for PC.
Looks the same? Are you trolling?
Ryse! (of the quick time events!)
Looks like a good game to me.
Except that "cheap" DDR3 RAM in current PCs is more than capable of outdoing what is in the next gen consoles. The problem with the fact that the "cheap" RAM being in the xbox1 is that the video card is sharing slow(er) RAM with the video card. Using GDDR5 as system RAM is overkill and not needed and in some ways counter intuitive. But since the PS4 is a unified memory system it will benefit the APU better than Microsoft solution.
So no. the meaning of che...
The only reason I liked SR3 was because it was completely insane and over the top. If I wanted to play GTA I would just play GTA. But unlike the GTA games I actually bought, played, beat, and thoroughly enjoyed SR3. I hope they keep the same over the top craziness and lowball humor.
