How about we just play a game without the romance crap thrown in regardless of sexual/gender orientation and let people play without that mess added in just so that Bioware can get a pat on the back from the gub'ment?
Never forget part of gamer-gate was the U.S. Government was pushing for game devs to make more homosexual/pansexual/transgend er/female heroes in games.
And they wonder why the Souls games do so well. Because it focuses on game and gameplay...
I love my GTX980.
^^ Steam stats also include peoples work PCs and every day laptops. Hardly very telling.
Agreed. I don't know anyone that doesn't play video games on a regular basis that couldn't adjust and figure out how to succeed in this game if they give it a chance.
Most of us on this site were beating much harder games back in the NES/SNES era when we were kids. This is a walk in the park compared to what we used to play.
I DID have a warranty. But I opened mine up the first day I bought it to look inside of it and voided the warranty long before it broke.
I'm a PC "elitist". And one of our quirks is checking out the hardware under the hood. Warranty be damned.
Yes. I had bought a launch day PS4, but it broke. So I've been without a PS4 for about 6 months now. Watched one Twitch stream of Bloodbourne and went out and bought a new finally after putting it off for too long.
You sound pretty defensive. And I DO feel sorry for console gamers. There is NO REASON they can't add the option to toggle that on or off on the consoles. Especially since so many people hate the way chromatic aberration looks.
The first time I played a Souls game all I knew about it was that is was supposed to be "hard". Not like Mike Tyson Punch Out hard, but still hard.
After getting killed several times and going back for more I knew I was in love. The Souls series of games are up there with my other all time favorite series like STALKER and Command and Conquer.
But as much as I enjoy it I can see why someone who is more casual wouldn't want to play it. It takes ...
The last great one was Divinity: Original Sin. The PC has killer exclusives too. Just typically not in the same genres.
This is why I own a PS4 AND a PC. Get it together guys.
So just a resolution increase? Its hard to tell anything else by this comparison as the shadows/lighting all looks to the be the same and there are no particle effects showing to speak of.
Guess I'm the only one that doesn't care one way or the other. Just don't let the movie suck.
@trauma- hahahahahahaha! My statement went STRAIGHT over your head. ZOOOOM!!!!!!!!
Phil is obviously not aware of what the word competition means.
There are a lot of games that support SteamOS and growing. Does it work? The answer is yes. You can download SteamOS for free, right now, and put it on your existing PC. You can also play games made with SteamOS support on your current PC as well.
I can't explain who would buy a steam machine when you've already got a gaming rig. But if I was in the market for a console I would certainly purchase one.
It does all of the auto-updating, driver updatin...
Side-scroller or bust!
Command and Conquer. Total Annihilation. Doom 2.
They're all going to have their own "channels" for you to subscribe to in place for when you only stream a game instead of play it natively on your screen.
PC for me. It will still have uses once it can no longer play current games and does more than just play games, stream music, or watch videos.
But only if I had to choose one or the other. I currently have a gaming rig and a PS4.
I'll get it on a Steam sale in about 2 months for about half price. The recommended specs are still weak for such a good looking game. Looking forward to picking this up.
