I liked Lords of the Fallen. A lot! But I can't give it higher praise than Dark Souls 2. It was incredibly short, way too easy, and doesn't have that lonely and melancholy feel to the world that Souls has..
If I wanted an easier and prettier version of Dark Souls this game is it. Its fun, easier, MUCH better looking, and has a more detailed story without having to look for clues to backstory.
I guess I could see why some people would prefer it. But ...
I agree with you. CnC4 was what did it in. That and the fact they cancelled the last CnC game they were making and they website hasn't been updated in years.
After EA ruining my favorite game series of all time, Command and Conquer, I have little to no faith in them ever actually listening to fans and what it is we are willing to pay for and be happy with.
One of the reasons they state for the hacks was to draw attention away from frivolous things like video games on a holiday to give more attention to things that matter like the like #opdeatheaters movement.
If this is the worst DRM ever gets, I'll take two please! lol
Exactly my thoughts when I read the article headline, Abriael.
The first game is more old school. The second game is like dark souls meets Witcher due to the harder and more tactical combat. Witcher 2 also has a much better story and better way of telling the story.
As someone who has beat both I would suggest skip the first one and play the 2nd.
Where was Dying Light on that list? It is just as open world as Dead Island 2 is.
Divinity: Original Sin. Hands down.
Awww look, he found the internet!
No. It simply means it is capped at 30. Meaning it won't be allowed to have more than 30fps but drops below 30fps are allowed.
I'd bet that the next Nintendo console and handheld will have very similar architectures. Which would be good for more than just ports between the two.
Other than that I couldn't possibly guess. Unless they make a system like the WiiU where the screen-gamepad is actually the handheld (like a 3DS) that is capable of being taken off and playing your games out and about but is also the controller of the more powerful home console it comes bundled with.
Anyone else think that this was a Dota2 tournament when you first read the name????
Freedom of speech should always win- without a second thought!
Never forget the minute you start limiting ANYONE'S speech, no matter how stupid or offensive to you it may be, it will be YOU and YOUR IDEAS that are up next on the chopping block because you set the precedent that being offended or upset is all it takes to silence another person.
I couldn't think of a worse way to handle this than forcing people to use a RealID when on the internet. First off anyone can fake you if they want to frame you. Secondly its a total loss of rights to the individual. Being anonymous on the internet is no different than having a pen-name, writing a letter to the editor without giving a real name, or refusing to give your name to strangers. Who can then use it against you for expressing an idea no matter how innocent or insidious.

I have played Fallout and the ElderScrolls exclusively on PC since 1997. So I have no idea about those sorts of problems. But I do recall reading about some issues when Oblivion came out for consoles. Specifically the PS3. But I thought they fixed those not too long after launch? And I didnt think it was game breaking either. Just annoying bugs. Which every Elder Scrolls since Arena has had and every 3D version of Fallout has had. (Isometric Fallouts were rock solid back in the day!)
This is basically just a zbrush model for them to use as a guide for the actual game. It is impressive. But this is not what you will see in game. So please, don't be mad at them when the final product shifts and those pictures are not what you get or start yelling about "down-grades".
These games are my favorite FPS games ever made. I like them even better than Half Life, Doom series, Bioshock, you name it.
The atmosphere in these games are amazing. That creepy, alone, death around any corner feel just hasn't been topped by any other game I've ever played.
None of the 3D Fallout games have come out completely bug free. Same with the Elder Scrolls games going all the way back to 1997.
Broken however has not been the case in any of my experiences playing either series. Bugs? Yes. Broken? No.
The game is meant to scale well. You WILL NOT need a top of the line PC to play this game and enjoy it. But if you want to run 4k resolutions obviously you'll need a beefier PC than someone who is just running it at 1080p.
