is 3 years too long for an MMO in production? How long did it take to make WoW???
Also- I can play some modules already. It is a great way to test the game while giving something to the fans and backers. And they're not really that buggy at all. A few hiccups here and there and they are updated fairly often.
You're obviously a troll who knows nothing about this game.
They don't need him any more than any game company really needs any one person. But the fans might be a little pissed.
I wonder if I said I identified as Batman if I should be celebrated for dressing up as Batman every day? I mean, that is what this GUY is doing, right? Dressing up as something he can never physically be- a girl.
What is the difference?
ALSO PEOPLE- never forget that part of Gamer-gate was the U.S. government trying to push an agenda through the game publishers where they were told to include more gay, female, and trans-gender people and propaganda on the ga...
The first game I was unable to beat the final boss due to a crash glitch that never was patched. The second game will not start on 2 of my 3 PCs, also another glitch that is very wide-spread that they never fixed. I will not give them money for another game. EVER.
I gotta admit the thought of a new Souls game every year sounds good to me. Or just an ongoing game where there is large DLC/game changes made once or twice a year that bring a lot new to the table.
Sorry man, as much as I wish it were otherwise, Dota is much more popular than any of those games you listed. Combined.
Yes, you can say the animations and effects feel more fluid while the game itself has less hitches and hiccups therefore being more solid.
This is a game engine we're talking about. Not a physical object you pick up and throw around.
Pull your head out of your ass.
I like the new engine. Everything feels more fluid and solid. Not sure why they bothered with an engine if they're not into making games unless they expect to sell the Source2 engine in droves. But Dota2 is proof that Valve is still in the business of making games. But they've shifted their priorities in what type of games.
The report clearly states GAMING (enthusiast level hardware) along with the actual gaming software to back up a point.
I don't know why this is so hard for people to accept. It doesn't mean your precious little console is going to die off tomorrow just because another platform is doing much better.
It tells me that Bethesda has paid off the right bureaucrats.
Been playing this game all morning. It is great.
Hopefully it is more like the first games where you can accidently/purposefully kill even the kids. Made you play the game a lot safer back then. I still remember shooting children on accident and having to restart a fight.
Agreed.
I kinda liked the whole bleak feeling myself.
I'd be too busy doing what I wanted if I had 2.5 billion in the bank to bother complaining about anything.
I found myself in the exact opposite as you. I had such good luck with the 5870 I went back to AMD. But now I am rocking a 980GTX and love it too.
But as the OP says- AMD is good for the industry and gaming in general. But Nvidia currently has more solid products IMO so I went with them this time.
Unless the time was supposed to be used for improvement in another area I don't see how it is called a waste. Have a work project deadline coming up and you're playing games instead of working on it? Yeah, that is a waste. Home from work and just want to do something you enjoy? Not a waste.
By this logic watching sports, television, reading books/comics, or just taking a nap would be considered a waste of time.
If you have a PC you can pick this game up now. I played this back in January on Steam and its a pretty fun game.
And a nice crisp 1080p+ on my PC.
