That's not Sony's decision, that's Insomniac's. They are the ones who want to stay independent, and Sony can't do anything about it unless Insomniac walks up to their door.
Woah. That is a MASSIVE improvement.
Mortal Kombat.
My first MK game was Deception, followed by Armageddon, MK Vs DC, went back to play the older MK games, then MK9, Deadly Alliance, and MKX.
Both Sony and Microsoft gave out bad offers. What a shame.
The reason MGS5 suffered was because that was at the time were Konami went batshit crazy, and pulled Kojima from development. The rest of the game was rushed by Konami and Kojima's staff. Had the game been given the time it needed, it wouldn't have suffered such a terrible fate.
As happy as I am that they didn't fuck over Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled with micro transactions, (I bought the game, and I am enjoying it greatly), Activision deserves just as much hate as EA for pulling shit like this with Call of Duty.
They also take fan games like Sonic Mania and ask the creators if they can release said games, instead of straight-up shutting it down.
- Wrath of Cortex was made by Travellers Tales.
- Nitro Fueled was made by Beenox.
- N. Same Trilogy played exactly like the OG trilogy with very few tweaks here and there.
The Amazing Spider-Man movies left a lot to be desired, but they were by no means abominations.
I do wonder how this bill will impact games such as Overwatch, Paladins, and TF2?
The fact that this incarnation of Resident Evil had 6 movies is mindboggling.
I hate current times....
I can't speak for Team Sonic Racing, but after seeing many of these comments, I just want to say that you don't need to dethrone Mario Kart in order to be a good kart racer, you just need to be a good kart racer. I'm not excited for CTR Nitro Fueled because I want it to dehrone Mario Kart, I'm excited for it because it looks like fun, and I've been wanting a CTR remake since The N.Sane Trilogy was anounced.
Gravity Rush.
The first game had so many mysteries and so many unanswered questions that it made me excited for the sequel, and left me interested in where it would go next. Unfortunately, I found the sequel's story to be a big jumbled mess that answered so little from the first game, and the majority of the campaign was just filler that did nothing for Kat except give her new abilities.
Remember, kids. Don't feed the trolls.
Skyrim. I was expecting Alduin to be his own unique battle with his own special abilities, but he ended up being just a regular dragon boss battle with only like 1 or 2 unique abilities, and I didn't feel like I was fighting against this huge threat that the game made him out to be. It was underwhelming, and anticlimactic.
The one time in which movie Sonic actually fits well in anything.
I wouldn't mind remasters if they were a collection of games, such as The Nathan Drake Collection, or even last gen's Metal Gear Solid Legacy Collection. Not just some lazily released game like some of the Assassin's Creed remasters.
If it docks, that's all that matters. Otherwise, calling it a Switch doesn't make sense.
I'm glad they replaced PES instead of Horizon Chase Turbo. Haven't played it yet, but that racing game actually looks like fun.
