Honestly, these emails will not phase these companies too much. If your buying new this online pass does not affect you (im assuming you have internet access).
so in turn if you are upset, its because you are buying used or renting, therefore they are losing zero from you not buying this game.
its the same as free dlc for preorders. an extra bonus for people who contribute to the companies sales. the game is still playable without pass if bought used.

first of all, don't throw that 401k, family, friends crap at me. if 10 bucks is gonna make you miss a payment in life then you shouldn't be buying the game at all. and if you really dont want to pay 10 bucks then dont use catwoman cmon man.
i rent a good amount of games, so this does affect me, but trust me the alternatives is for pass for entire game, in fact blizzard does this now. your complaining about extra content (catwoman) you can still play most of this game...
i also think a season pass is a much better idea, than raising the prices of games AGAIN.
if you have a problem with season pass, come up with an alternative other than, WAAAH they are greedy they make enough WAAAAH.

Considering theres like 100ish game of the years given out every year, I am sure both will get a few. Gears, battlefield, Skyrim, and even COD will nab at least one each.
I love the fact that we have so many games this season that deserve game of the year. Truly a great year for gamers, and a terrible one for our wallets.
ya gears 3 looks great, but its still not better graphically than uncharted, don't even think it was trying to be.

the core mechanics are pretty much the same. There are some great additions for sure but its still Uncharted.

But there are many many many great multiplat games available. mass effect, elder scrolls, battlefield, Red dead redemption, gta, madden, nhl, nba2k, vesperia, la noire, bioshock's, etc.
Gears 3 is fantastic, critically claimed, loved by many, and is selling great. deal with...

The beta showcased the much improved multiplayer to anyone that was on fence for $5 refundable preorder.
This game is great, people knew it before it was released, soooooo....... its selling very well. End of story.
I am sure Uncharted 3 will sell well too, I will be buying day one myself.
