i think most peoples point is that they dont want another dev to make a sequel to a series they love.
What NT is basically doing is making their own game and using Devil May Cry for the name recognition, in turn c*** blocking fans from getting the game they want.
I guess most of those fans will just stick to Bayonetta and any sequels that come out for it.
Enslaved is a good rental, but tell me what was so original? It tried to be melee Uncharted and did not do anything better.
I did not care for Heavenly Sword, and that was a direct rip off of God of War. Take away smooth framerate and quick gameplay for a more shallow choppy version with cleavage and that was Heavenly Sword.
Now they want to try out Devil May Cry, this time not ripping it off, but man it feels like they did and then just bought name afterwar...
at this point, why even use the devil may cry name?

I even told you there's a downloader/installer that does everything for you, its as easy as posting on this site. Even without that program, every mod has easy instructions for manual install.

Rowland did you just make that entire argument up? It couldn't be easier to install mods with Skyrim, there's even a mod manager that does everything for you.
The manager even downloads the mods for you, so two clicks and the thing is installed. definitely not the "nightmare" you speak of.
I currently have 20 mods installed and have yet to get 1 conflict, the modders are really top notch and there isn't even a creation kit out yet.

I agree that no matter what a game company does it will find tons of criticism. But when it comes to Resident Evil 5, its not the "advancement" of the series that is getting the vocal minority loud about it. In fact the most innovation of any Resident Evil was 4 and that's one of the most celebrated in the series.
All Resident evil did in 5 was add Co-op, made it outside for great portions with bright sunny skies, and take away a lot of the tension that RE4 was...
Co-op and being scary is entirely impossible, but RE5 definitely wasnt it, and I really dont think Resident 6 would be any different if it was still in campaign.
Co op would be great if you were constantly separated and only heard things going on with teammate at distance, maybe even implement a way to cut mic at certain spots to make you feel more alone.
Or if the only time you came in contact with co op is huge bosses, or only seeing through walls you can...

Least I really hope so. If you absolutely have to have a co op mode, then do what Mass Effect is doing and don't touch the Main Campaign with Co-op.
I find it hard to believe a 6 player co op is on main campaign.

Portal 2 did not get humor from uncharted, im sure they got it from portal 1. And they already infused humor in prior games such as team fortress.
