@asgaro while i agree with you, im taking more of a wait and see approach. If they launch a new console with 2 exclusives per year, then ya I might wait. Hard to buy a console just for Halo and Forza.
But if they decide to actually cater to hardcore gamers instead of depending on multiplat 3rd party, then ill be on board. And I dont mean buying PlayStation exclusives to go multiplat like GTA and Final Fantasy.

it basically all comes down to the marketing at launch.
Think about it, the wii system is/was a garbage last gen console at its launch only bringing the wiimote and sensor bar to differentiate itself from competition. I barely saw the difference between that and gamecube.

exclusives dont matter to those that have both consoles. They only care about good games. at least thats how I feel.
Ill enjoy Diablo 3, Uncharted, Gears of war, and Skyrim based on the games themselves and not what system they are on.
HOWEVER if you only own one console or just a gaming PC, then exclusives do matter. because no one wants to be interested in a game that they cannot play, like me and skyward sword.
