This game isn't even out yet, and it's about to reach instant classic status.
You can feel the steady build-up of excitement for this game... an anticipation that may even equal MGS4's release. I never thought I'd say something like that, as many feel MGS4 is maybe the greatest game this generation so far, if not the greatest game ever.

If they ever decide to have a "Mario and Friends Wii Create" LBP-type game, they could literally print money
But something tells me that Nintendo is really protective of it's characters, and probably wouldn't want to see Mario, Donkey Kong, and Pickachu starring in a "Super Sexxx Bros" game or Link up on Youtube in "Link's Love Arrow" user-created movie
If you are a fan of 2-D platformers, the only things that could possibly stop this game from reaching insta-classic status is...
- a clunky, overly complicated interface for level design. (Casual gamers won't appreciate RPG Maker - type demands)
or
- space/level restrictions that make the user keep the levels real short (for easier posting and sharing)
Will I be able to make a Metroid / Zelda / Mega-man type game where a power up ear...

It kind of brings up the whole MGS4 = 5 to 10hrs of gameplay B$ argument...
MGS4 is as long as you make it. It gives the player the choice of how he/she wants to proceed through the game.
Heck, I may give him Mario 64...
But RE4 and Tomb Raider? Really?
My favorite is RE2, but RE4 revitalized that series. And I still remember the eerie, lonely feeling mixed with absolute awe that I had when exploring the dungeons of Tomb Raider.
I think the Tomb Raider franchise went wrong when the makers forgot the "raiding tombs" part of the game, and had Lara getting into gunfights with other humans, instead of just fighting off wild ...
and yeah, Theatre Mode is a must.
And add some quirky mini-games like they did with Ape Escape on MGS3. Those were fun

M$ would love nothing better to get rid of the faulty hardware RROD stigma. Heck, they didn't even want to admit it in the first place.
I believe that M$ has been trying very hard to eliminate the RROD issue and it's been paying off with some people believing that the RROD problems were only in the earlier units and are now a thing of the past.
You may have to fire the guy, but suing him just brings him and his admissions about the hardware defects to light agai...

If they're such a great developer, they should attempt to LEARN the PS3 system instead of dishing the port to EA to handle.
I simply do not understand being a game enthusiast but not take the time to learn new tech to reach a wider audience so they get to enjoy your games also.
