the whole ending sequence of Link versus Ganon in Ocarina of Time is one of my favorites
Yeah, in those days you had unlockables, cool codes, and hidden quests/areas free in each game that we would get charged for today.
No more trying to pack as much content as they can into games to make them stand out from the crowd and worthy of purchase... and you have someone like Sessler supporting it
I don't understand it anymore
the game that keeps on giving :)
1. Digital downloads will not eliminate the need for discs anytime soon.
2. Having one clear standard is a big advantage.
3. Blu-ray isn't going to be replaced by another disc format anytime soon.
4. Prices for large-screen HDTVs will continue to drop.
5. Prices for Blu-ray players will continue to drop.
6. Prices for Blu-ray discs will drop to near DVD price levels.
7. Sony will sell lots of PlayStation 3 game consoles.
8. Sony can't afford to...
Space Invaders, Vanguard, and the original Star Wars arcade made video game sounds matter
Dragon's Lair and VirtuaFighter revolutionized graphics.
Gauntlet and Double Dragon - multiplayer
There is no way GT's visuals can be improved.
They are already too gorgeous :)
Yeah, insane time investment
and insane elitism
The best time in FFXI was when it first came out and everyone was helpful.
Here's a hint for anyone thinking of starting with this game - find a friend quick or a guild that don't mind helping newer players.
Soloing is way too hard in that world. Or atleast it used to be...
this seems like applying the lube just before the a$$-reaming
I see tears a-plenty in your future :(
what's really messed up is that fanboys take such a simplistic view of game reviews. Either, the reviews mean too much and validates their purchase, or they believe that the reviews mean nothing at all.
Unfortunately, the reviews do mean something... Not to your enjoyment of the game, but in other ways.
When media members unfairly over-criti...
I guess I'll be getting the PSP or DS version for the best graphics ;P
kidding... kidding...
I'll probably get the PSP version though. No waggle, no touch screen... just playing the game w/o gimmicks hopefully
No Gunblade? bah
... it would be great if honest players were rewarded without having to grind non-stop for gil.
I don't know how it could be implemented though
If I heard that, I might start playing again.
Level grinding was hard enough in that game without trying to grind for gil too. It got to be like a part time job and drained the fun a bit
and all the other nit-picking from some previews.
Don't worry though, Edge won't let us down.
I can alomst feel that 6/10 rating :)
My worst gaming fear is if Sony and MS look at the amazing sales of the Wii and decide to turn towards casual *cough*shovel-ware*cough* gaming themselves.
That would indeed be a backwards step.
Are you f'n kidding me?
Yet another example of why SE sucks now...
then again, SE will do stuff like this from time to time. Barret was the only one in the slums that spoke ebonics? Ah well, I'm STILL waiting for that FFVII remake!
That's what fists and intimidation are for.
Kidding... Kidding... ;P
seriously, GameInformer is the real deal. No bias BS

EGM / 1up were at the forefront of the PS3 smear campaign.
Many were left wondering what pissed them off so much?
Was it the $600 price tag? Was it that the rumors of Sony's arrogance towards the media the last two generations were true? Was it Microsoft's "influence" *cough*moneyhat*cough*?
But what ever it was, the bitterness and attacks by 1up / EGM were not imagined. Even 360 fanboys know it - though they think it's hilarious...
...
Sark seemed like he couldn't wait to blast KZ2, and Sessler kept veering him away from the cheapshot fanboyism and back to the "is the game good or not" preview.
Atleast that's what I saw in this video...
F' Sark
Good job, Sess
Fake CoD? are you kidding me? Like a game shouldn't use good ideas from other great games?
