I want to get my 360 from Best Buy though, if I get one for Mass Effect, Fable, and some other RPG's.
I know that MS covers RROD with a three year warranty, but Best Buy's $50 2-year warranty to walk in and exchange for a new system should anything go wrong is too good to pass up and some major piece of mind.

Seriously, these huge FFXIII "non-announcements" are getting annoying. Everybody wants the game no matter what Square announces.
They could announce "One of Thirteen diseases with every disk!! THIRTEEN!! Choose from SARS, West Nile, Bird Flu, that f'd up disease from Outbreak, and many more!!" and fans would still line up to buy the game.
Maybe it's just me, but I just want to know when FFXIII is coming - the actual month, day, and year - and...

I'm not saying that the game will suck by any means. I'd just be worried about a weak port of the game.
If it does come out for PS3, I wouldn't rush right out for this game. Wait for a review that you trust to give you bug details, if any. Or at the very least, rent the game first.
Valve games maybe fun, but their ports to PS3 (out-sourced to EA) don't have the best track record.
