Imagine Kratos versus Thor, Loki, Hela, Odin... man, the possibilities :)
EDIT
Actually, you're like all of the Generation 2 Transformers rolled into one, but even more sucky :P
Just kidding... I'm a PS3 fanboy and what you wrote made me laugh
Supposedly, there are already a few ps2 games that work with the latest PS3's - with no PS2 backwards compatibility - and each of these "non-eventful" firmware updates for PS3 has been secretly adding more PS2 games to the list.
I would love some official comfirmation of this
Oh the sweet joy of owning a future-proof system ;P
but MANY people thought it was a game when it was first released and got burned
Very few people didn't quite understand what they were in for, and paid $3 for a 6 minute demo and some trophies
Now, 3 dollars isn't much, but consider the games you can buy for $5 dollars a few days ago on PSN
He's doing what EVERY SINGLE NEWS ARTICLE in existence attempts to do, catch potential readers' eyes with headlines.
And if anything, he's keeping it real. I only own a PS3 right now, but it's not a giant leap of logic and common sense to see that since the price drop, the 360 has been dominating the PS3 in sales.
He's not saying that the 360 is a better system than the PS3 with better games, better online, better fans, better blah blah fanyboy foolishness
And just get it done already
When will they realize that only a small portion of the 360 community is into rpg's. Most bought it for Halo and other shooters. Yes, Xbox fans like Fable, but Xbox is not known as a rpg console. It's fans buy Xboxes for faster paced games - like shooters first and foremost
On the other hand, MANY PS3 owners bought their console in anticipation of the JRPG to come (just like rpg's came to PS2), and FFXIII was at the top of their list.
But where are the SE rpg...
Boston Bruins fan here :)
I know... I know....
The 6 minutes that the "game" lasts is good to look at, but not much more.
You've been warned
I'd loved to get my hands on Bushido Blade and creepy Tecmo: Deception again
edit
and Vagrant Story and Suikoden 1&2 also
Dude, I hope you're talking about typing.
Using a pen or pencil like that could hurt D:
The only thing stopping me was the shotty hardware. The games are great.
Hopefully this greatly reduces the chance of RROD. And the disk install feature should help reduce disk-scratching too.
When I get one, I may just get it at BestBuy and get their $50 2-year warranty.
I guess that goes to show you that it's all opinion.
PS3 is not even a full two years old yet, and has some of the games that you've mentioned on your list, plus some great exclusives
Sak's comments smack of blatant fanboyism. And yours sound a bit misinformed.
Maybe it really is sony's non-existent advertising that has gamers still believing in that "little to no PS3 games" fud.
But please remove the blinders and see that...
You are such an ultimate fanboy that you can't even admit that neither the 360 nor the PS3 had to "wait two years" for great games.
I actually think trolls are funny (you have to have a sense of humor when on N4G), but it sounds like you actually believe that BS you're spouting. LOL
R:FOM, Heavenly Sword, Warhawk, & Uncharted seriously sucked in Sak's magical, mystical kingdom of Backwards Land. :)
for a $30 Dualshock Controller
Cloud vs Squall would be killer
Or Kefka vs Sephiroth for top villain honors :)
I understand that it's a business, but really... this new direction in just pushing out games just smacks of EA tactics.
Oh, Square will still have a hit or two every few years, but the glory days of their "every game is special" mentality seems to be gone.
No more FFI-XII, Mother/Earthbound, CronoTrigger/CronoCross, Xenogears, Parasite Eve quality titles year after year
Just listen to the lyrics. They're absolutely gansta
Agreed with all of above
Current SE vs oldschool Squaresoft is like comparing current Mike Tyson to oldschool Mike Tyson
or current wrestling to oldschool wrestling
or current Sonic games to oldschool Sonic games
Square's philosophy on quality vs maximum profit seems off. They don't understand that if they just make quality games - no matter what system - instead of these hack-job flops that they would see huge profits and more loyal co...
