Sony Bend even said themselves that they were amazed at the power of the device, and that there is plenty of unharnessed power waiting to be unlocked for future titles on the NGP..

I actually consider Silent Hill Origins on the PSP as the finest best game in the series since SH3.
Imagine the disappointment on his face when he finally gets his hands on this piece of broken garbage! Nostalgia can only paste over so-many cracks.

My laptop caters for my Uni subjects, my work assignments, internet, watching films, my high end gaming needs and many more uses. Hell I even hook it up to my TV and use it watch my fav shows in 1080p. And it is small enough to comfortab...
My M11x Notebook runs it perfectly on its 11.6 inch screen.
Whenever I'm on the bus or the train I can whip it out and hey presto The Witcher 2 & MGS3 on the go! And then I can plug into most TVs with its HDMI out, and hook up my 360 controller....
There is not many scenarios in which the 3DS is more portable (or anywhere as near as powerful)
Well if you have good laptop,
you can play MGS2 & MGS3 at 60fps & in HD using PCSX2.....
Well as long as Sony prioritize and have all the PSP classics up (and not just a load of low grade filler titles...I'm looking at you PSone Classics), it will be great.
Why are people making comparisons between the 3DS & the NGP?
They aren't even in the same gen.
When a device in incapable of running Unreal Engine 3, then it is not current gen.

MGS was never an exclusive franchise in the first place.
MGS1: Twin Snakes appeared on the Gamecube, as did Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance was also released on the Xbox & PC. And now it's getting HD re-releases on the PS3 & 360, along with MGS3 getting a 3DS makeover
With the exception of the best game in the series (MGS4), it has always been a multiplatform franchise.

Does this mean future NGP's will have a new 3D capable screen that will replace the current OLED, (which could split the market and screw over early adopters)

It would make sense if Sony launched the Wifi version at $250.
Ok, in the beginning it will put them in the red, but they would sell so many NGPs that they would be in profits in no time.
Hell with games like Uncharted & Wipeout at launch, they wouldn't be able to make enough of them, and it would rocket them (for the first time) to top of the handheld market...
